Minecraft Advent Calendar - Day 13
Posted by TheBrickPal,Yesterday's Drowned was good, but not very exciting! I hope to be pleasantly surprised by the offering today. If it's more Micro World, then there's certainly a lot of potential...
The Day 7 Iron Golem was impressive, and this microscale Warden is too! It is very recognizable for being made from so few pieces.
Again, the scaling is a little odd, but it looks the part even without printing, and the colors are quite accurate to the in-game mob.
LEGO Warden sightings are rare, as a minifig-scale version has only appeared in two sets.
Overall - 4.0 - A surprising choice for this Advent Calender, but a great one!

Man, Galactus has seen better days.
Not many, mind you.
Haven’t played Minecraft in a while, which is presumably why I do not recognise what this is supposed to be at all. Which is a slight shame as I’ve been recognising everything else that’s come out the calendar so far
This is the first entire day based on something added to the game after I had to stop playing, although Day Ten's sword was, I believe, netherite, which also came after that.

Indeed. Frankenyoda knocked him out of frame.
The Warden is relatively new to Minecraft as demonstrated with previous comments, but he's become truly iconic. He's a mini-boss you're not meant to beat, but to escape, using stealth mechanics in a new biome called the Deep Dark.
And keep your voices down guys or he'll hear you.
Huh, will it guard the halls?

With boughs of holly?
This is the best build so far.
I think you got the tile on the front wrong, it's supposed to cover the upper torso, not the legs - I checked the official product images, they agree. Funny that it's the exact same scale as the iron golem, though.

The instructions say to assemble it the way @TheBrickPal did, so either the person who put them together for the official pictures or the person who did the instructions did it wrong. @pohaturon designed the calendar, maybe he'd care to weigh in?

The instructions on the calendar itself looks to be putting the piece higher up to me...?

Checked on Rebrickable, and the instructions PDF seems to show arrows leading from the bottom edge of the tile to the studs. The submodel image also shows the tile mounted flush with the shoulders.

I just double-checked, and it would seem you are correct; @TheBrickPal and I both seem to have misinterpreted the arrows in the same way.
