Harry Potter Advent Calendar - Day 16
Posted by CapnRex101,Day sixteen should bring our next minifigure and presumably another Ravenclaw character, based on the sequence of items provided so far in this Advent Calendar.
Let's find out who it is...
Luna Lovegood is a fine choice to represent Ravenclaw and I can definitely imagine her wearing this jumper, which cannot be said for all the minifigures we have received so far. In fact, a Cornish Pixie design seems appropriate for Luna, although I would have preferred a jumper with a sprig of mistletoe and a conspicuous lack of Nargles, if a unique torso had been possible.
I always think this hair element looks a bit awkward because it was designed to fit over a satchel, but it works from most angles. Also, the double-sided head looks good and Luna comes with a reddish brown wand, plus the usual spare.
Overall - I like the festive jumpers in this year's Harry Potter Advent Calendar, but as with Angelina Johnson, the torso repetition is unfortunate.

I was hoping for an early years Luna over an early years Cho. Pleasantly surprised to see both!
But also a bit strange that we're at our 6th figure and they've only been students with the same four sweaters. Not bad, just a bit weird.
Where Hufflepuff doesn’t really have any major characters (besides Deadric, who isn’t seasonally appropriate), Ravenclaw always seems to push the same two supporting characters, even when Gryffindor and Slytherin go with deep cuts.
So far:
Minifigures: 6 (Harry, Cho, Draco, Hannah, Angelina, Luna)
Animals: 3 (Hedwig, Buckbeak, Aragog)
Edibles: 3 (Beans, Polyjuice, Butterbeer)
Nonedibles: 3 (Envelope, Sorting Hat, Galleon Coins)
Edible Animals: 1 (Chocolate frog)
This is Loony Lov... Luna Lovegood.
Scrooge here, back once again to say "bah, humbug" to how generic minifigure faces have become, especially child characters.
You say torso repetition, I say festive jumper (sweater) army building

Who knew Dumbledore's army had those kind of uniforms?

Not mine. Mine is an army of HP350 (I bought a lot of copies of 30435).
Luna Lovegood.
The kid friendly version of Felicity Shagwell. Or Yvonne Humpalot.
