Posted by Huwbot,
Today's random minifigure is col082 Highland Battler, Series 6, a Collectible Minifigures figure that came in one set, 8827-2 Highland Battler, released during 2012.
Our members collectively own a total of 36,116 of them. If you'd like to buy one you should find it for sale at BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $5.90.

FOREEEVVVVEEEEEER
I gave this and the bagpiper to my cousin’s husband, who’s originally from Scotland. Says his mom walked out onto the way northern tip of the country to give birth to him.
FOR SCOTLAND!
THAY MAY TAYKE OUR BRICKS.... BUT THAY MAY NEVARR TAYKE... OUR FREE-DDOOOMMMM!!
Awesome figure, I have him. Very detailed.
I wish the bagpipe piece was more widely available. I can hear Scotland the Brave now...
(*I am aware this figure came with a sword rather than bagpipes I refer to Scottish lego generally)
That’s the face I make when I find out the set I want is OOS or on backorder.
"Our members collectively own a total of 36,116 of them." That's too many! THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

If you've heard one bagpipe tune, you've heard them both. (I actually enjoy the sound of bagpipes, but seriously, "Scotland the Brave" and "Amazing Grace" do seem to account for about ninety-five percent of bagpipe music.)
Should've had the Bagpipe accessory.
I just saw this guy at a store today.
Also, on another note, Braveheart is one of my all-time favorite film scores.
HEEEEEERE HE IS,
BORN TO KING,
HE'S A PRINCE UPON THE UNIVERSE...'til he gets decapitated...:D
This figure has a better Scottish accent than Mel Gibson.... :)
For all that it’s probably supposed to be a generic tartan he’s wearing, the pattern seems to most closely resemble Clan Gordon’s, at least that I can tell. Though given the guy seems to hail from an era before clan tartans were really a thing I’m not sure that tells us anything

In my best Sean Connery voice
FOR SHCOTLAND!
Sorry Mel and Christopher, but as great as Braveheart and Highlander are as movies, no one beats my most famous Scot in cinema!
:-)

Pfft....
Unfortunately, there aren't many options to give this guy a proper woad. The closest thing I could find, was the head on https://brickset.com/minifigs/pi070 - although the classic smiley face does seem to say "Hiya, buddy! You go right ahead, take my life AND my freedom!".
There can be only one.

On the plus side, he is wearing just _one_ tartan. 8831-6 has one tartan on his modern-style kilt, a different tartan on his bonnet, and a third tartan on his bagpipes.

Juan Sánchez-Villalobos Ramírez doesn't sound very Scottish to me though.....
EDIT: @Huw, since yesterday the site seems rather slow again, with regularly an error 524 (timeout).

A man of much divided loyalties, clearly
Great Scott! I just got this minifigure this past week!
I had to buy like 30 of these guys for my Loch Ness stop motion film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JT1kZE7j_RE
