The 76408 12 Grimmauld Place set was so underrated. Definitely one of the best harry Potter sets.

Orange on a redhead is not a good look.

When my younger brother and I were kids, my mom had trouble picking out clothes for me, because she knew that they'd get passed down to him, and since I was a brunet and he was a redhead (I use the past tense because I'm losing my hair and he shaved his head after he started losing his), some colors looked much better on me than they did on him.

But it is purple's complimentary colour so should pop pretty well on you. Or at least not make you look like you're made of gingerbread quite as much as it does Molly here

The dress is much more muted in the film. And it *is* a dress, and should have used a dress piece.

I'll never understand why but lego hates having minifigures in dresses. We get dress pieces in BAM and PAB, but they are rarely used in sets.

Molly Weasley as you say shouldve had a dress piece (as per the source material) and there are various other examples.

The modular buildings have been going for almost 19 years now and yet only one minifigure ever used a dress (singer in Jazz Club). This is despite the 20th century setting where dresses and skirts (plus suits for men) make the most sense and more interesting characters.

Dresses, skirts and suits are still very common and would apply to a number of lego themes.

A lot of the time in playsets it's to let the characters be able to sit down, which I'm sure was the case here as well, i think, but it was still a bad decision. All other modern figs of mrs. Weasley use the dress piece and this one should have as well.

I completely agree. Mine has remained built since I bought it, and have spent time adapting it to an old 'T' road plate like 6310-1 - extending the front steps, then attaching the building along the full stud path, while the road still allows the function of the building to work!

I like this figure - and my only Mrs Weasley!

I respect that this is a busy time for the reviewers, but It's a shame we don't get too many Wizarding World reviews anymore. Just 1 set review, and 1 GWP review of 20 set releases by the team this whole year!

Wrong movie. This is "Just because you're allowed to use magic now does not mean you have to whip out your wands for everything!"

But if I’m dressed in orange, then I’m not dressed in purple. Also, in the RYB color theory, it’s orange/blue and purple/yellow. In modern color theory, it’s magenta/green, and orange would fall somewhere between blue and cyan.

The Weasleys aren’t what you’d call, you know, “wealthy”.

I'm reminded of The Sound of Music. "Do you mean to tell me that my children have been roaming about Salzburg dressed up in nothing but some old drapes?"

You're likely also reminded of the Sound of Music because this lady's bib is covered in piano-keys and a bassoon. I don't think that's weird, though I do think it's weird that she would choose to wear a bib at all.
