I haven't seen one of those roaming the countryside here in New Zealand for a long time

I really do like the Hobbit movies (much more than most people), but there were way too many Orcs throughout the Trilogy. It really got annoying whenever they showed up.

I mean, that's probably not a terrible thing.

It's not the worst thing I've encountered before. I remember about 25 years ago, I went hiking along the misty mountains and found a small hole in the rock, I peered in and looked into this vast cave, anyway, long story short I saw this old looking guy saying something about not getting past to this weird, fiery looking thing before they fell. Nothing too out of the ordinary here in NZ but an interesting story nonetheless.

It’s really too bad they couldn’t reuse that left arm for Autumn.

Doesn’t look too bad for a guy who’s still alive 1402 years after he should have been dead.

Impressive head piece.

Maybe when Autumn feels like invading the mines under Heartlake City she’ll switch to using that hook/claw thing

Well, most of them got killed off during the course of the six films, and it's unclear if they're capable of breeding on their own without some degree of magical assistance.

By in Netherlands,

The mould for that head-piece would've been useful to give us a minifigure-sized Ultimate Green Goblin, who - spoilers! - is Norman Osborn with the proportionate strength of a Norman Osborn the size of Norman Osborn (because comics).

In Autumn's defense, her 3.18 bar-arm will accept an incredible amount of attachments, ranging from prosthetic arms to arm-cannons, arm-chainsaws, arm-flamethrowers and arm-gatling guns.

In Autumn's offense, cannons and chainsaws and flamethrowers and gatling guns.

Have you read the book? The film is nothing like it. It's awful! You know, in the LOTR movies, they said that Saruman died in Orthanc?! They also cut Tom Bombadil! And Azog was dead, killed in moria. at the time of the hobbit, and it was his son in the battle of five armies, but they decided to change everything. They even had legolas show up, and had Fili named elf-friend!

And they were cheap when nobody wanted them and few adults were into LEGO. ASDA sold them at £30 here. I sold one a couple of weeks ago at £275. Not bad, but they are no Lonely Mountain.

The The Battle of Five Armies set contains 6 minifgs, so is there at least one minifig from each army?

To answer that question, you’d first need to conclusively determine which five armies are referenced in that name. You’ve got Laketown, Erebor, the hill Dwarves, the Elves, two groups of Orcs, Wargs, Eagles, Beorn, and probably some others who didn’t appear in the film.

The answer is yes, if you include the eagle as you must.

However, the set sadly does not contain Llarry the lascivious Llama.

Of course I have. I read the book first before watching the films. I've read it numerous times; I've also watched the movies numerous times. They messed up a ton of stuff, but there were also plenty of things that I think the movies did better than the book. I'm allowed to like a film while still acknowledging the things that it didn't get right (like I did in my original comment).

By in United States,

Kind of surprised, given the number of LOTR fans here that the figures owned is only 5,048. Maybe Lego didn't produce very many of these sets but I would have thought production would be much higher than that.

By in Belgium,

I like it when he says this:

"Oh, I hate being disappointed, Smee. And I hate living in this flawed body. And I hate living in Neverland. And I hate... I hate... I *hate* Peter Pan!"

I love Captain Hook!

But wait a minute… Didn't the Captain have a moustache… and a red costume… and a wig?
