… as opposed to every other LEGO product ever?

I can’t get over how polygonal the saucer section looks from many angles.

I think there are other MOC Star Trek starships, e.g. those on rebrickable.com by “skyfoxbricks”, which have more accurate profiles - https://rebrickable.com/users/Skyfoxbricks/mocs/

Either you're being sarcastic or you don't know what "niche" means.

Here in the US waiting for it to go live for us at midnight tonight, and looking forward to the multiple GWPs, including that same Insiders reward Retro Space Explorer myself. I just hope nothing goes wrong when I try to place my order…

I need more ways for LEGO to siphon funds from my checking account like I need more holes in my head, but I freely admit I’d dearly love for them to give us at least a few more Star Trek sets, and a USS Voyager is an obvious major candidate.

Major hopes for me include anything from TOS / TAS, the TOS movies, DS9, Lower Decks, and Prodigy. I’m not exactly holding my breath on all of those, but I’d love to see them happen (even if I’m not prepared for the financial hit!).

Would be getting excited now, if it was the proper Enterprise....

On the Starship Enterprise, under Captain Kirk!

I really think the original 1701 has a great shot at coming out next year, in time for her 60th anniversary, and speaking as another TOS fan myself, I certainly hope that’s the plan.

That said, 1701-D is plenty beloved in her own right, and actually has more appearances in Star Trek than any other vessel, her Kirk-era ancestor included. Should Enterprise-D wind up being the only set of a Star Trek starship TLG ever produces, at least it’ll represent the largest possible swath of the franchise that any one vessel can.

Over here the discount offers are exactly the same as last weekend, apparently none have sold out even at a discount

That set has not been in the list of discounted sets here.
