Here's the press release for the latest issue of Blocks Magazine:

There’s a whole batch of new LEGO sets about to launch and Blocks is diving deep into the 2026 collection, with designer insights into the epic 76344 Iron Man Mark 3 Collectors’ Edition, Minecraft sets including 21586 The Pale Garden and the latest wave of City. You can also learn all about the BrickLink Designer Program set that almost was!

Issue 135 is available to order worldwide as part of a subscription or as a single issue at blocksmag.com and will be in UK stores from January 2.

Blocks subscriptions are better value than ever – a one-year print subscription in the UK is just £64.90, for a saving of £52.10. If you take out a qualifying subscription by Christmas eve, you’ll get a free poster and free Christmas cards.

Every month there’s a prize to win for subscribers – and Blocks is giving away 75419 Death Star! To be in with a chance of winning, take out a subscription before December 23, 2025.

This month, Senior Model Designer Aaron Newman introduces a striking new depiction of Iron Man he has crafted — one that delivers an articulated display model. It’s clear that it was a passion project for the creative professional.

That’s not all for deep dives into the new January sets – Minecraft Design Manager Joe Kyde discusses the unique aesthetic of the theme, explains how his team goes about crafting a set based on a new biome and how the LEGO interpretation has evolved through the years.

Design Manager Chris Stamp then uses 60478 Cement Mixer as a case study to demonstrate how City sets are developed, how a rigorous design process ensures that every avenue is explored before the final product arrives with fans.

Blocks also has the inside story on the BrickLink Designer Program set that almost came to be but just missed out on being launched – find out what could have been and the wonderful reason that events took an unexpected turn.

Reading all of these fascinating interviews will inspire you to do some building and there are four sets of exclusive Quick Build instructions that you can tackle – a snail to add to 10366 Tropical Aquarium, a mini Lightning McQueen, a modern take on a Legends of Chima Speedorz vehicle and an updated version of 6641 4-Wheelin’ Truck from Town.

Issue 135 also features reviews of the Wicked For Good sets, the story of the original smart brick, a thorough conversation with LEGO Model Designer Stijn Oom, Caleb Schilling’s recreation of an incredible fairytale palace from the Rhine river and much more.

Blocks is giving away 75419 Death Star! To be entered into the prize draw and to get Blocks magazine delivered every month – ahead of the shops – visit www.blocksmag.com and check out the money-saving subscription deals available.

For entry into the prize draw, you must have an active Blocks subscription at 5.00pm UK time on December 23, 2025 (existing subscribers will automatically be entered into the prize draw).
