Not really getting the Christmas spirit here... Halloween, maybe, but not Christmas

Every Lego Batman movie minifigure was peak.

Not a very Christmas-y, or even winter-y, pick.

Hands down the best version of DC's Scarecrow released to date.

By in United States,

I agree with @PurpleDave about this being the absolute best Scarecrow LEGO has produced. Recently I've added this minifig to my GC City Hall to terrorize its employees.

@PurpleDave: Don't know...I always liked the one from 76054: Batman: Scarecrow Harvest of Fear, but that ones hair is a tad dark compared to this one, so yeah...

Also, isn't an absolute shame we won't get TLBM 2 (Electr...um, nevermind:)). I remember hearing how it was suppose to about Batman and his relationship with the JLA, which is always FUN.:)

By in United Kingdom,

Well this is not the costume-wearing, floppy hat adorned figure I was expecting today, and I certainly shan’t be accepting any gifts he tries to give me

By in Netherlands,

It's a very effective figure. It made me realise that it's already been eight years since we got TLBM-sets, seems only yesterday. That's pretty scary - well played, Crane.

So how about a rundown of all the DC Scarecrow minifigs?

7785/7786: The first one, GitD was an interesting choice (though I think I've heard they can crack), but it just reminded me too much of the second design from B:TAS where his bald head looked like a balloon.

10937: And this one reminded me too much of the TNBA Scarecrow, with that hint of a noose around the neck (which never made sense for the character).

76054: It was an improvement, with the addition of straw hair, but the entire thing is just a bit too monochromatic for my tastes.

70910: I mean, it was different? I was glad they gave us two versions to match both of his looks from the film, but I would have preferred it if they'd started with the standard version.

70913: This looks the closest to the original B:TAS character design when he still had straw hair. The two-tone hat seals the deal, but he also has the most detailed body (aside from the pizza outfit). I liked this minifig so much that I got at least a third copy of the set, possibly a fourth, so I could borrow the minifig into my non-TLBM Batman show collection.

76239: Don't get me wrong. I like that they've finally started filling out the Dark Knight trilogy cast, and it's very accurate to the film...but it's a character design that just doesn't read very well in minifig form.

76300: Frequently Scarecrow has appeared in full costume with various Arkham sets, which fits with the idea that Crane is (still) the guy running the place. It feels odd to see him in a jumpsuit, even for someone who made Arkham jumpsuit versions of every TLBM Batman villain except for Clayface (just need to build a recolor that's mostly orange) and Killer Croc (I'd need to buy a second Croc bigfig and paint the pants orange).

Bonus Edition!

71023-18: Very accurate representation of the classic WB Scarecrow, but not very intimidating.

75685: I've never seen the Wicked films, so can't comment on the accuracy, but the character design just doesn't say "scarecrow" to me.

71002-2: I never truly liked the wizard hat for Scarecrow, so for a time I was really tempted to use this version to make a custom Scarecrow minifig, until Harvest of Fear brought us the first with a hat/hair combo. Oddly, this is the only scarecrow minifig without the Scarecrow tag.
