I wonder if they'll do sets for the terrible looking Moana live-action remake.
I was a bit surprised that I didn't have this one, as I own two Moana sets, 41150 and 43210. I hadn't realized, before looking at the page for all Moana minifigs, just how many different minidolls she'd gotten.

Sure. Everyone knows that when you go sailing on an open-hulled boat in mixed company, you gotta bring an extensive wardrobe.
I never did pick up that flower-pot set. I really should add that to my 2026 wish list.

Just look at Mrs. Howell.

The S.S. Minnow was not an open-hulled boat, though. It has a fairly large interior. Technically the big boat from Moana 2 isn't open-hulled, either, since they show scenes in a fairly cramped interior, but the boat from the first movie might be considered an open-hulled design. Maybe. I mean, I'm not sure that style of catamaran counts, since you can't sit inside the actual hulls, but an outrigger canoe certainly would.
Nice prints on this one. It's a nice looking minidoll.

Just rerelease the ones for the original, given the live action seems to be a shot-for-shot remake
Italian kid: Daddy, why is Vaiana named Moana?
Italian dad: *blushes*
Anyone know what the "Sienna" refers to?

The minidoll is in Sienna Brown rather than the Medium Nougat that other Moanas appeared in

"Moana!
Make way, make way!
Moana it's time you knew,
The village of Motonui is all you need..."
I will say, the minidolls of Moana (at least based on the first movie; no comment regarding the sequel) seem to have steadily improved over time, both in level of detail on her outfit and in how much her face resembles the animated version. I'm sure they're going to reach a point *sometime* where there's no more improvement they can even make, but as it stands it's nice to see her design progressing over time.

You say that like we don’t have hordes of college age semi-journalists looking to slap together a clickbait article so they can get back to doomscrolling their social media of choice. I didn’t click, so I wouldn’t have been able to tell you the alternate name, but I knew the where and why just from browsing headlines.
