I...don't trust this guy. And it's not because he's a Redcoat.

This face print looks like Johnny Thunder with a beard.

It’s Johnny’s evil twin.

Great set and great army builder much like the Tic Tac Toe sets.

Seems like *someone* has gone fed of all the "that isn't a minifig!" comments that they've renamed this feature to "Random FIGURE of the Day" (actually it seems to have happened yesterday, but I didn't notice).

And ironically, both days have had true minifigs get picked.

It's Rascus, the green knight of the monkey!

Figure: "I am but a prawn..."
King: "No, you are but a 'pawn'."
Figure: "Ah...yes, that would make more sense...":)

By in United Kingdom,

I’m choosing to assume his name actually is Officer Goatee and he was forced to grow that facial hair because of it. He so desperately wants a full beard but the name means he never will

The mini-fig chess sets were the ultimate battle packs, even if a little confusing when playing.

Well spotted! I’d prefer if it really were just minifigures but realise that because of the database that that isn’t possible. At least it’s more accurate now.

Ah yes. The time Sir Rascus somehow time-travelled from Medieval (?*) Morcia to the pirates era, after having made passing stops in the Viking era 7018 and at a modern-day football stadium 3569 and apparently deciding that neither of those were places he wanted to stick around for more than two sets each. Clearly he felt like he'd found his place with the redcoats, however, because he appeared in several sets as one of them, albeit often with different combinations of hats and epaulettes.

He also may or may not have defected to the pirates at some point, because this minifigure exists https://brickset.com/minifigs/pi105, but the picture of the only set that minifigure is in shows Rascus as the soldier instead of the pirate, so who knows???

* ...*somewhat* Medieval; Morcia's a kind of weird 'Medieval but with superpowers' that exists under its own rules. Perhaps the reason why the Lego builder app counts Knights' Kingdom II as its own separate theme, instead of as part of regular Castle...!

"Genius, bishop, playboy, Imperialist."
