…pretty sure this is MASTER Garmadon, or just plain Garmadon. The last version of him we got, as it happens.

He looks like a Christmas present.

Ninjago fans would not appreciate him being called Lord Garmadon when he's in this form

Did he ever hold the title of "Lord" or was it just to sound more evil? I know he usurped the Underworld from Samukai, but that would make him a king. It's possible he was politically influential during the Serpentine War, but overall Ninjago has little to no political worldbuilding. Season 8 introduced a royal family out of nowhere, then immediately killed them off.

SEMI QUICK LORE

After being healed from evil at the end of season 2, Garmadon became a guide to the Ninja. When reports game in that Zane was alive and trapped on Chen's island during season 4, Garmadon insisted he go with them. This is because he used to train under Chen, and knew something was afoot. In the end he would up sacrificing himself to the Cursed Realm to release the Anacondrai Generals trapped within, who unleashed their ghostly wrath on Chen's whole "become an Anacondrai" scheme because snake-face is in pretty poor taste.

To weigh in on the debate, Garmadon did not go by "Lord" during the events of seasons 3 or 4. However, he gained the title of "Lord" as a young adult by winning a fight against Clouse. It had nothing to do with his Overlord possession or being ruler of the Underworld. So he technically still is a "Lord" in this form, it's just odd to refer to that character variant that way.

I might be the only person alive that prefers the Ninjago Movie version of Garmadon over the TV Show...

I mean, one would think that at least one person who worked on the movie would think it was a good idea. It probably hasn't been long enough that they've all kicked off, has it?
