"I... am your father."
Wait, that line was from that other character that wears black.
Just before checking today's Randoms, I was singing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jutkNkVgXQ to myself. Funny coincidence.
@Maxbricks14: Well, yeah...but has 'the other guy' ever worked in dark grey (ponders...); his TIE Advanced maybe...:)
Also:
Figure: "I'm..."
Gordon: "ARE YOU STILL HERE?!?! GO FIGHT CRIME OR SOMETHING!!!":)
Delicious nougat eyes.
I’m Batman.

I just came from a video on the lore of the LEGO Batman videogames
This is an odd Batman in that I’ve never been able to identify what the print was based on, and yet the design was used for three of the theatrical films. So TLM Batman appears to be the first instance where a film appearance was based on an original minifig design.
And no, it’s not the 1989 Batman, it’s not the Batman Returns Batman, and it’s not the Troika Batman. All three of those have already appeared as other minifigs, and none of them match this style of belt.

It's not who I am in the print, but what I doooo that defines me!
Bat-Man,
Bat-Man,
Does whatever a bat can
Is he rich? Listen, bro
He can tell you about Krypto
Hey now!
I don't regret anything
"Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A Dark Knight."
Mucky Pop approves of this minifig!

The 2012 black suit Batman that the version from the Lego movies started as is also hard to pin down because of the belt. It's not the capsule belt the Troika suit started with, the pouch belt from No Man's Land, or the movie version.
The 2025 Superman is similarly based on seemingly nothing in particular.

Whoops, I was thinking this _was_ the 2012 print! Troika was the black/gold Batman that appeared in the inaugural 2006 Batman sets. And obviously they’ve done a few variants of both the Keaton Batsuits, which can be differentiated by the oddball triple tail on the 1989 logo vs the more Silver Age look of the 1992 Returns logo. There’s an excellent graphic out there where someone drew _EVERY_ major Batsuit variation from the first First Appearance design up to sometime after the Nolan trilogy, which is how I was finally able to nail down that Troika print. And yeah, nothing matched the 2012 black suit until The LEGO Movie used that existing minifig design. And I don’t recognize this print either.
"The 2025 Superman is similarly based on seemingly nothing in particular."
And I’m definitely not that well versed on Superman variations, other than knowing the first First Appearance costume had a black background to the chest logo.
@Crux: But...why would I want Bruce to talk to me about Krypto...that should be Clark's responsibility (and don't get me started on Gunn's 'take'...:|)
