BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 sets now available for pre-order
Posted by CapnRex101,The next five BrickLink Designer Program sets are now available for pre-order!
Production numbers are expected to be flexible, as with the previous two series, so even popular sets should be available for a reasonable length of time.
You can submit pre-orders here and view the new sets below...
910059 Privateer Frigate Fortuna
- 4087 pieces
- £319.99, $349.99, €349.99
910060 Sushi Restaurant
- 3604 pieces
- £249.99, $279.99, €279.99
I am working on a full review of this set for publication tomorrow, but for now, I can say it is as impressive in person as it looks in the images! The level of detail is exceptional and it reminds me of 910034 Brick Cross Train Station, as its building experience feels equivalent to an official design, avoiding the questionable techniques found in some BrickLink Designer Program sets.
910061 Antique Collection
- 1504 pieces
- £99.99, $109.99, €109.99
910062 Alchemist's Shop
- 2319 pieces
- £179.99, $199.99, €199.99
910063 W.A.L.T.
- 654 pieces
- £34.99, $39.99, €39.99
Pre-orders will close on February 23rd.
Have you pre-ordered any of these sets? Let us know in the comments.

Abother BLDP, another Lego site malfunction. (sigh)
"You don't have anything in your bag"
Well, I would sure like to, if you'll let me!
2026 and LEGO.com is still s***.
Plenty in my bag, checkout not working.
500 Internal Server Error
I bought between 0 and three Privateer Frigate(s).... wanted just one. Had one in my bag. Then when I paid there were two. Then there was none. Then I put another one in my bag. And paid. Error 500. So who knows how many I bought...
Edit:
Guess I bought at least one... got the confirmation email!
Is it just me, or does anyone else want to punch that minifigure who says, "Looks like something has gone wrong!" over and over again?

It's not just you.
Ship Ordered.
If you like Arctic, take a look at my design!

Talk about clunky
Success in just 13 minutes, probably a new record for me, but 10 minutes more than it should take.
Managed to put the order in for the three sets I was after (910059 Privateer Frigate Fortuna, 910060 Sushi Restaurant, and 910063 W.A.L.T.) in about 2 minutes after the pre-order opened.
It was the best BDP ordering experience so far, all I had to do was remember to wait about 10 seconds for the Lego.com cart to update properly. I got the final 'order is confirmed email' 8 minutes later.
The website did then crash for a while before the 'Thanks for your order' page would load so ymmv...
"Want to play a game?"
I am. And, losing. (palm hits face)
Alchemist Shop, Sushi Restaurant and W.A.L.T brought……but, one of THE most frustrating check out experiences ever. Lego.com need to sort their platform out, for a global super brand it’s second rate tech!!!
Got my order in for the Privateer Frigate Fortuna. Maybe I'll go back for WALT later this week, but not today.
Yeah that went as well as I thought… they’ve only had 7 attempts to get it right
BTW:
Has anybody in Europe already got their BDP 6 orders? I haven't but it says on the website it is already shipping?
17 minutes to get to checkout for 3 of the 5 items. Come on guys, you gotta do better than that.
Does the GWP not qualify with Bricklink orders? Didn't in the past?
Yeah that was painful. First nothing getting added for 10 minutes...then when trying to check out it kept adding quantities of sets when I would go to the payment screen. Finally after 18 minutes got the 3 I wanted.
Still better than trying to snag any type of Pokemon card online drops though.
Privateer is funded.

You beat me by a minute.
Alchemist's Shop acquired (just one, despite it repeatedly & randomly adding a second to my cart just before I clicked the confirmation button!).

GWPs, at least mostly, no longer are eligible with any pre-orders. Though sometimes, like the Pokemon I think, they are exclusive to pre-orders.
Took seventeen minutes this time and a server cloud flare crash on lego which didn't help. I thought it was going to be problematic after the excess stock fiasco and when they sent an email reminder an hour before, as they did then. Still, it was smoother than the excess stock, although it took time for lego to accept I only wanted one Alchemist, not two. Started on my laptop, finished the order on my phone as checkout seemed to crash the site.
19 minutes to get my order in. Hang in there if you're still trying.
I've never know the LEGO website to be struggling for this long. It's only got worse since they revamped the website with all this frontend JS, presumably they're using it on the server side too - let this be a lesson to anyone who uses JavaScript as infrastructure!

In the US. Received Off-road Adventure. Remaining sets In Process.

Mine say 'In Process', and the money went out last week.
I was hoping they may come this week, but hoping next week now perhaps
They're all FUNDED, except furniture. Guess that's no real surprise.
5 items ordered. All seperately.
I'm sure i was able to get them in one basket last time round.
Maybe I missed something
Alchemist's Shop ordered, no issues but had left myself logged in last night just in case.

I've seen comments from people in the US that have them already but nothing from Europe. However I do have pending payments on my credit card so can't be far off now.

My Off-Road Adventure (United States) is still in process, card has been charged. I'm not in a rush at all, just sharing info.
Got the cabinet and robot, took less than 2 mins. Guess I got lucky?
Alchemist, antique set and WALT. That is Christmas effectively sorted for 2 kids, and the alchemist's shop is for me.
Had to drop my VPN to see anything -- just blank screens with it on. And yes, I want to strangle the minifig! Over 25 minutes... when is Lego IT going to get a real transaction system?
I'm weak... I couldn't resist that Alchemist's Shop's call...
That'll give me an excuse to rebuild my Blacksmith's Shop...
I really LOVE the ship, but I simply have nowhere to put it
Once again the website of the multi-million euros company is ABSOLUTE dogsh*t when it comes to handling high traffic.
They release limited edition stuff, during a limited time-frame, with limited units...and they DON'T have a website strong enough to handle it.
I managed to get the Privateer Frigate Fortuna but it was a nightmare to be able to pay for it.
I can already foresee the complete sh*tshow that will be on the 27th when the Pokémon sets launch...
LOL, I thought it started tomorrow, so I was caught off guard. Ordered Alchemist Shop and Sushi Restaurant at 8:50 am PST with no issues... so it looks like there was no need to get in when the site opened.
Also noticed that all sets indicate they are FUNDED.
I just remembered the thing went live an hour ago, logged in, and ordered the Sushi Restaurant without difficulty.
Just bought my most expensive lego set to date, the Fortuna!
With so many BDP Series 6 sets starting to ship/invoice along with my recent decision to pull the trigger on 76269 Avengers Tower (though I had some gift cards), I’m not sure BDP Series 7 will get any love from my house. Even with removing Chez d’Avengers, my wish list is still crippling high.
As much as I loved every bit of Series 6, I’ve always thought Series 7 was just okay. I wonder how many folks are getting Walt based simply on his affordability? I’m also starting to get worried how much of my LEGO City is BDP. I was looking forward to putting Bib Fortuna at the helm of that frigate, though. One other thing to consider is that Series 8 looks to be a definite wallet breaker. Until FOMO hits me, I’m out. Shark Tank.
By the way, no BDP Series 7 review this year @Huw / @CapnRex101 ?
lol imagine not getting your order done in less than 60 seconds…
Well it's 1 hour 36 minutes since the purchase window opened and I got the Fortuna without any fuss at all. I think the people trying to order the second it opens are just tripping one another up for no real benefit at this point.
Had no issue getting the Alchemy Shop 20 mins after went live
All 5 are funded now.
Wonder which one sells out first.
Alchemy Shop or Ship?
Totally forgot about this, but nearly three hours in, they're all still available. Maybe not go to the website all at once, if you know the LEGO site can't handle that -- unless you like to complain about crappy websites on Brickset... Which I'm sure some of you like to do. :'-)
Decided to get the Alchemist Shop after all, just because it'll compliment the Medieval Blacksmith nicely. Not the most original submission, though. That award goes the Antique Collection. There should be more affordable sets like WALT, though.
I snagged the Sushi Restaurant for my NINJAGO City with WALT as bonus!
Easy choice. Only liked one.... Antique Collection.

I was able to get the penguin gwp with preorders of the batmobile and batman logo (in separate orders)
A bit of a relief that I only wanted the Sushi Restaurant this series. My wallet can take a break, and I can plan for the next series.. which I want at least two sets.
As always, if you don't jump right at it, ordering these sets is no problem at all.
Guess some people just don't have enough patience.

It’s hard to break a habit and the earlier series were definitely first come, first serve. Throw in the normal LEGO GWP debacles and you end up with a very frenetic purchasing experience. You can tell this is still the case with all the nervous comments on Bricklink itself.
I'm torn over whether or not to order anything. I was going to get the Fortuna but looking at it again it's a lot of plate and tile work and it's huge. There's just something telling me that I should pass on it. I also like the Alchemist to go with my Blacksmith so I might just order that one.
Just ordered W.A.L.T. without any issues (my first BDP order!), already was the only set I was interested in, but after watching RacingBricks video about it I was sold. Love the design and all of the details, and love that it isn't a huge and very expensive set.
As a Japanophile, I do like the Sushi Restaurant.....but not nearly enough to pay €280 for it. I already have a whole bunch of Japanese and Chinese shops from Loz, maybe not quite as impressive, but those do save me a lot of space and money.
And not a set for me, but I do quite like the Antique Collection. Again not a crazy big set, and detailed very nicely. Just not something I would want to put on display.
I only got WALT the robot (I'm trying to cut back...). I'm in the US and I ordered around a half hour after pre-ordering went live and had no issues. Whole process took maybe 2 minutes.

No, never has
No progress bar this year to show us how many are sold!
Yeah, I miss the progress bar. Still haven't decided. If these had paper instructions, I wouldn't have hesitated.

If you open the source code and look for dPercentagePreordered, you will see the top sets are at 80% sold already.

80% sold of 30000….they will continue to move stock off i-Robot snd Pantry over to the frigate and alchemist.

Welp now my order says 'Waiting for stock' so hopefully I didn't speak too soon!
That was nice ... placed my order 3 1/2 hours after ordering opened up - got right on the website, no glitches, and there was still stock left to pre-order. The anxiety that I recall from ordering 910001 Castle in the Forest is pleasantly behind us... :)
I had been avoiding most BDP series since then, but the Alchemist was too much to resist. When 21325 Medieval Blacksmith came out, I was so excited. I hoped for a regular series of medieval buildings of the same scale, akin to what the modular series is. While I appreciate the Castle sets that have come out since then, none filled me with the same excitement. I'm hoping that Alchemist Shop will bring back some of the same wonder and excitement that I felt in 2021...!
Here is the current status (3.5 hours in):
Amount Sold / Maximum Available / Set Name
23,912 / 30,000 / Alchemist’s Shop
22,744 / 30,000 / Privateer Frigate Fortuna
22,333 / 30,000 / Sushi Restaurant
9,545 / 30,000 / W.A.L.T.
7,998 / 30,000 / Antique Collection
I got right in and placed my order for two of the Alchemists shops and done in five minutes. Wow!

Thank you again for doing this. It will be interesting to see when they move stock around. I’m really surprised how many people wanted the armoire and that there’s a three way tie for favorite.
Can someone help me retain my sanity? I got a notification that Lego had taken £199.99 from me this morning for my series 6 castle and now I have to pay for my series 7 pre order. I can obviously go back and spend ages double checking everything from statements months ago but why does it feel like I pay twice?
Edited for typo
4 hours in, and I got the Frigate Fortuna in my cart and ordered & paid for in about 8 seconds.
Not sure why so many others have major issues with the LEGO website….. and I feel your pain and frustration and anger …. But maybe try ordering an hour or two after the initial start time??…..

How did you pay? My credit card currently shows 3 pending payments two for series 6 and one for the series 7 I just did. The series 7 one will disappear without being finalised in a week or so and then reappear when they reapply it in the future. The series 6 ones reappeared last week and will become final payments when they leave the Lego warehouse.
As @grave_dave said, the Series 7 transactions will disappear as they were just confirming the account. Being charged now for Series 6 means that they are being shipped.

No, you're good. That's the status all BDP get between the moment LEGO confirms your order and the moment it ships, 6 months from now.

Thanks... I've gone back and discovered this does seem to be the pattern. Stuff I ordered each round is only showing historically several months later.
Scary thing about searching my bank statement for Lego, shows me how mich I spend annually now...
Thank you...will keep an eye on it. Was quite a hit having both get debited in the same day...
Just wanted to take a moment to remember fellow San Diegan / Virginian Robert Duvall. Thank you for Boo Radley, Boss Spearman, Tom Gagen, Frank Burns, Bill Kilgore, Ned Pepper and so many more. To me, you’ll always be Texas Ranger Gus McCrae. If ever an actor deserved representation in LEGO…
