If she doesn't scare you, no evil thing will...

Well I’m never looking at my fig of her in the same way again now, thanks xD

Honestly though, she’s not the same without the dog. They went for a brilliant derpy, unsuspecting puppy expression - go check it out if you’ve not seen it

I remain disappointed that they’ve still not done a version of her with her full blown crazy eyes from the film’s climax

Been decades since I've seen the movie, so I don't remember *exactly* what she looked like then, but I retain enough memory to know that that would make for a great alternate expression. If https://brickset.com/minifigs/dis188/cruella-de-vil hah had that as an alt face, I'd have been very tempted to get 43277.

When I first saw they were doing that car my first thought was that they’d use that as an alt face. But alas :(

There actually exists a sci-fi / fantasy sequel book to the original book 101 Dalmatians (not the film), and man, is it trippy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Starlight_Barking Cruella appears in the sequel, and dogs are sent to kill her, but they don't.

I don't know what the author was smoking when they wrote that...

Alright...I think I'll just read the plot synopsis OH MY GOD WHAT WAS THE AUTHOR THINKING

At first you think Cruella is a devil
But after time has worn away the shock
You come to realise
You've seen her kind of eyes
Watching you from underneath A ROCK

I remember we read that in primary school English lessons for some reason. It is exactly as loopy as that synopsis makes it sound

I've only started reading the synopsis, and my first thought was, "Gee, I wonder why Disney didn't use that plot for their direct-to-video sequel to the original?"

All of it, and copiously. I mean, weirder kids' books have been written, but what a genre shift!
