Bad set, but decent figure.
Bad movie, but decent end credits.
THIS SET
"hey kid wanna buy a topless at-st"
Wait that's Finn!? I didn't recognize him with that elaborate disguise!
I feel like Finn really should've included a hair piece in this set. He's not wearing the cap while he's fighting Phasma.
*obligatory "sequels stink but look cool" comment
The caps look even more like trapper hats in the Lego version but I like the printing.
As for the set this minifig comes from, let's just say it was worthy of the movie it's based on.
Figure loks sharp in uniform, nice prints.

That’s what a Hugo Boss inspired outfit will do for you!
Crap set
"Traitor!"
At some point I considered buying this set just to get the Phasma minifig, but the rest was so bad I changed my mind…
(Not the designer's fault: the 'beheading' of the AT-ST was a stupid idea to start with — maybe not as dumb as droppping bombs in space, an endless same-speed chase, or killing off the main villain without answering some questions, only to wait for the final film to resurrect Sheev and justify all this by saying that he somehow returned… At least we got some nice visuals, costumes and above all music by John Williams.)

Luckily no expenses were spared to create ± 10 seconds of footage to confirm that the First Order has industrial-grade irons to take care of those!

It would’ve been a peak set if it included the head, but had a play feature to knock it off at the back.

On that we agree. Unfortunately, the designer had a price point to shoot for.
Finn got a promotion!

Wouldn’t it make more sense to cut the useless elevator side build?

Sort of. Also:
"Hello, I'd like to talk to you about our lord and savior, Snoke"

It's fitting that a character depicted on the silver screen with good acting in an overall poor movie should be depicted in Lego form with a decent minifigure in an overall poor set.
