Great Western Brick Show, 3-4 October
Posted by Huw,
One of the highlights of the LEGO show calendar in the UK is the Great Western Brick Show that takes place at the STEAM museum in Swindon on the first weekend in October.
This year I will be displaying my train diorama there and most of the UK-based Brickset team will be in attendance too.
As we have done in previous years, we will be making name badges that can be picked up at the event to enable you to identify yourself to fellow Bricksetters. If you would like one, please complete the form below.
It is advisable to book tickets online because the queues can be lengthy at peak times.
I look forward to seeing many of you there!

That was easier than I thought it was going to be. I'm not displaying or anything whilst I'm there but if I get a neat little keepsake then great, thanks
Wasn't it previously called the "Great Western LEGO Show"?
Yes Alemas but I believe LEGO had to removed from the title. Brick is the replacement.
Indeed. LEGO does not allow the use of that word in any event title that it itself does not organise.
But it went for donkeys years with "LEGO" in the title. :P
Alemas, LEGO just love to be inconsistent and change the rules every two-years or so. Still, thank goodness it does not stop this being the biggest event for AFOLs in the UK. This will be my 8th year exhibiting - and it is not only me that has something different to display every time :-)
@Huw you have an extra C in october in the title above. Feel free to remove this comment with it. :) Too much excitement looking forward to Steam, perhaps?
^ I wondered who'd be first: it took over 500 people before someone noticed that :)
Looking forward to it! Will be my third year in a row. Always a lot of fun.
Went last year for the first time and was blown away by some of the MOCs, looking forward to coming back this year for some more
Really looking forward to the event. It will be the first time to enter steam and also my first time in the UK. I have heard a lot of good things about Steam from Ralph. A small group of 5 Dutch man are coming this year: Ralph (of course), Dennis en Patrick Bosman, Arjan Oude kotte and myself.
Looking forward meeting some of you in person.
When I booked all I seemed to get was an order number, is that it or is there a proper ticket that gets posted/e-mailed e-ticket ?
If you booked and paid via Swindontickets and PayPal then you should get an email with your ticket as an attachment which you print off.
