A useful if not slightly mundane part. Just from a cursory glance at the available colors for this part I notice the presence of a fairly recent addition. I wish more technic parts were available in Highlighter Yellow. It's a great color and I'd love to see it more in general

Hmm.. Only one system use so far. I'm sure it will make it's way onto more as it goes.

Do they plan for there to be a second?

As usual, I went to the part page to see if I had any of this part, and was rather surprised to see that the only ones I had were from the "only System use" that @Miyakan mentioned, 10312. I was thinking they might be from the mechanism in 21327.

Should prove to be useful either as a cam or within a ratchet mechanism.

@MeisterDad: Something I forgot to ask: Did you mean a small door, or a door for a Mini?

Never thought I'd think of a panel as cute, but here we are: Such an adorable little panelie!

The 3 wide panel 71682 is more useful with 3 connection points whereas this has just been used for decoration. Although turning the axle could allow this is be used to push something after each complete rotation in some clockwork mechanics.

2x2x1x1 = 69

And no, I'll probably never grow up :-)
