Huwbot seems to have a very large preference towards super heroes minifigures these past few days.

So you build only in black, and sometimes very, very, very dark gray?

By in Australia,

First RMotD that I own. I'm a massive Dark Knight Trilogy fan.

By in Australia,

How long until the first non-licensed figure?

By in United States,

So far, all of thr RMotDs that I've owned have been Batman characters. (Although I do own a Winston Zeddemore, it's the one from 21108, not the one from 75827 that was RMotD a few days ago.)

"No, I'M Batman."
(Lego slap fight)

I'm not sure I like the spongy capes. I think I prefer the starched ones.

^ I like sponge cakes. But I love this minifig of Batman. This particular one is one of my faves. And the set he belongs to I love so much.

This one was interesting because they released a Batman minifig based on The Dark Knight at SDCC 2011, but it wasn't until ten years later that they finally released one based on his Batman Begins costume, before they adapted the suit to incorporate what has become the official Dark Knight Trilogy logo, based on the Batarang design from the first film.

@R1_Drift:
Oddly enough, it's the camo version of the Tumbler from 76001 that is closest to being in scale with minifigs. I mean, remember, those front wheels somehow morph into the Batpod.

@MeisterDad:
I didn't like them until I realized they don't crease like starched capes, and they can be posed in a way that just doesn't work with the starched versions. But I store my display collection of ~400 Batman-related minifigs in 2"x3" ziploc-style bags, and the starched capes slide into those so much easier, where the spongy ones tend to bunch up if you're not super careful about it.

Det. Bullock: "Yeah, you know: Batman - Black Suit with Copper Belt, and Spongy Cape..."
THIS Batman (menacingly): "I can HEAR you, you know..."
Harv.: *SHUDDERS*:D

IMHO: Bats beats BP any day of the week...no matter WHAT "Death Battle" claims...

No, I'm Batman!

By in Romania,

Wow! I've just discovered Lego Batman sees nothing. (yeah, I'm not interested in comics). That's clever to show lens or headband through the cowl

Honestly with the sheer amount of Batmans there’s been I’m not surprised one popped up this quickly

By in Australia,

Love this figure and set so much.

Despite the simple design, this is one of my favourite figures of all time.

And if Batman can't see that then he's just...well, he's just as blind as... a guy who's eyes stopped working.

By in Belgium,

millions of different variations on the Batman figure existing, and I actually have this one... what a coincidence.. :)

By in United Kingdom,

I was glad to get this minifigure. I always wanted a black Christian Bale Batman but would never shell out for the expensive tumblers

“Alright Mr. Keaton, let’s see your answer. You wrote, ‘Val Kilmer sucks.’”

“I’m Batman.”

“And your wager was, ‘George Clooney sucks.’”

WHERE ARE THEY?!

@Judgeguy:
Oh, you didn’t need to buy either of the large Tumblers. You could have just sprung for one of the 2011 SDCC Batmans. I bought two of them, for $50 each…before the prices spiked to $300. You could have also bought a Tumbler Batman loose. I grabbed a few extras when the first Tumbler’s Batman and Joker could be found for around $25-30 each.

Those SNL Celebrity Jeopardy sketches had some truly amazing moments.

"It appears that Mr. Reynolds has changed his name to Turd Ferguson."

And the streaks continue! 7 for 7 licensed figs, 7 for 7 figs I don't own!

It's another close call on the Don't Own side, though--I definitely have Batmans (Batmen? Batmani? Batmanity?)--just not this one. Given the similar state of affairs yesterday, I'm thinking the "Figs I don't own" streak will fall before the Licensed Fig streak--though watch me jinx it. Or, worse, bring up something like a LEGO Movie fig

@Formendacil:
I'm four for seven, myself. It helps that three of those were DC characters.
