6239-1: Cannon Battle

Cannon battle for the treasure map!

The pirate has found a treasure map, but the soldier wants it too! BOOM! The firing cannon blasts the wall to pieces. Will the soldier get the map, or does the pirate have a tricky plan to escape? Includes soldier, pirate, treasure map, sword and musket! Fire the pull-action cannon and blast the break-away wall to pieces! Rebuild and fire again!

horrible without other pirates

this set comes with 2 minifigs ( 1 pirate and 1 soldier) which are no fun without other pirate sets. The cannon works pretty good and the little shelter also breaks apart well when the cannon hits it. As i said before, only good if you have other pirate sets. I would give this set a 5.5/10

This is a good army builder too.

If you want to get soldiers and pirates army,
this set is great army builder!
I have five of these sets!
Picture shows us something weird: in a picture, pirate bandana is blue.
In a set, it is green. (o_O)

Pros:

Cannon,
Pirate and soldier minifig,
Brown flintlock Musket
and you always get two swords and two epaulettes from one set.

Then cons:

Soldier doesnt have a backpack,
Wall pieces broke easily
And treasure map is useless,if you buy five of these sets,
like i, you will get five treasure maps.


I give it 4/5.

A Perfect Little Set

This is a great little set. I got it a few hours ago and I build it within a few minutes. Even though that there is a pretty low piece count so here are the pros and cons.

Pros
The cannon fires pretty well
The two mini-figures are unique and cool.
The solider's hat is pretty cool.
The pirate's new gun.

Cons
The wall falls over a little too eaisly.

So thats my review.

This set is fun but gets very repetative and boring. Not much 2 say reely....
well over and out.

This is a nice little set, with working cannon, breakable wall, pirate, soldier, and a MUSKET! Why did I write musket in capitals? Well, it feels... well, old-fashioned! The plastic feels old, as if from the original Pirates theme!

Pros:

Cannon
Soldier
Pirate
Breakable wall
Old-feeling musket

Cons:

Wall pieces are fall easily
On the picture, the pirate has a blue bandana, however in the set it's green!
Odd instructions: heads are different from the picture

Overall, a great Pirate set! Arrr!
