The only reason I bought this set was for the minifigures. Really.Pros:A (?)tankish(?) vehicle, but the Tumbler is much better.Bane's motorcycle, the best part of this set.Nice explosives and things. Good nick-nacks to have.Standard Bat-WeaponsCons:Bat-Tank's cockpit is easily broken and hard to fix.No hinge, you have to remove glass to place in minifigure.You really, honestly call this a hideout in your right mind?Riddler's Jet Pack is horrible, twisting and turning all the time.Really not a very good set at all, unless you sprout money, or REALLY want the minifigs, just buy the Tumbler instead.
the real reason I got this set was not for the vehicle, but the two rare characters of bane and the blue batman. the set comes with a lot of accessories, my favorite being bane's dark green motorcycle. its pretty sad that lego considers a gate and two watchtowers a hideout, but at least the bat tank can be called a tank. however, I'm just tired of all the flick fire missiles that now dominate all the star wars and bat man sets.

The Bat-Tank seems to be very much in the mold of the Batmobile from "The Dark Knight Returns" or "Batman Begins". This is one of my favourite Bat-vehicles because back in '07, this was the closest thing to the Tumbler. I got this at a TRU in Victoria back in August of '07 and I was NOT disappointed.Pros:Bane is exclusive to this setBat-Tank is larger than one would thinkMONEY!Bane's motorbike is neat$79.99 CAN seems reasonable for 645 piecesI like the chain gun and searchlight on the gateCons:WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO THE GIANT BASE IN THE PRELIMINARY?!
Alright I'll go into record by saying that NOW i have this set. Finally. If you can somehow get a hold of this, do because i got mine very NARROWLY. onto the review. This set in the batman line includes blue/Grey batman batman, Bane and the riddler. With that Bane is a set exclusive, another reason to purchase. The set is primarily made up of the tank, a moderate build with a clever mix of technic and brick. The set also includes a gate and a variety of accessories including guns, motorcycle and dynamite.Pros:-Big-plenty of accessories-Great mini figures-Cool vehicles-neat hideoutCons:-Hideout is more of a gate-motorcycle is, well odd-Tank can barely sit caped batman.Despite extremely MINOR flaws, the set is a truly fun build and a great addition to anyone's collection.Final Score: 8.0/10 (great)
