Summer Brick Fest, July 19-20, Osaka, Japan

Edwin Knight is organising a charity LEGO event in Japan:

"Summer Brick Fest, hosted by KLUG (Kansai Lego User Group). The event will be held on July 19 - 20, 10am - 6pm, at Settsu City Community Plaza in Osaka, Japan. (On the Hankyu Kyoto train line next to Settsu Station). Entry is 200 yen for children, and 300 yen for adults."

"There'll be a Treasure Hunt (with prizes) and also some Duplo for children to play with. The theme is summer, but there will be a wide range of models: trains , monorail , old LEGO, Japanese castle, rock festival, several thousand minifigures, Japanese town and a lot more."

"We are fundraising for Japanese orphanages. 50% of proceeds will go to Japanese orphanages which are underfunded and overcrowded. If anyone wants to help or donate, they are also welcome. Anything useful for orphanages like a donation, or just build something and join the fun! You can contact me at [email protected]"
