By in New Zealand,

He might come across the RMotD form two days ago in the water...

He's so plain it's literally in his minifig ID

I don't have 6543 (although I wish I did), so from one point of view I don't have this minifig, but from another point of view I have all the pieces to build this guy from other sets, so from that point of view, I do have him.

It's a complete travesty that they didn't give him a cloth kama.

The giant, plastic neck kama makes up for it.

By in Australia,

Easily one of the best sets from mid 90s Town. Easily.

By in Australia,

He's so cool and chill.

Its funny that classic sunglasses print hasnt aged too badly imo.

I actually preferred the older style lifevests.

By in United Kingdom,

I see his twin brother got the larger boat

By in Netherlands,

The colorscheme of this minifig reminds me of a beautiful sundown. Very fitting for a minifig from the Sail N' Fly Marina!

By in United States,

I got Sail N' Fly Marina for Christmas in 1994! I still have it, and it was always one of my favorite sets as a kid! 90s Lego sets rule!

The older ones could be hold way more securely by a minifig as well, since the back area has a 3.18 bar section seemlessly hidden within the mold.

The old sunglass print had a very minor detail (gap between the two lense connections) that often got blurried by too thick printing, resulting in versions that have the gap and ones that don't.

This head also got introduced with this specific plain torso with yellow arms in 1992 (remember minifig heads came pre-assembled during that time). He mostly got used in various beach-themed sets.

Thanks to Studios, this head also was around for quite some time. Up until 2002, it appeared in regular sets (not counting the single Legends re-release and the few Dacta sets).

What's odd is that a short-lived 1993 head which also wore sunglasses (https://brickset.com/minifigs/pck001/jacket-green-with-2-large-pockets-blue-legs-red-cap , AKA 'Max Timebuster') seemingly got replaced by this more simple head in 1995. All torsos which would typically use the blue sunglasses head (green vest, police black vest, brown pilot jacket) now got a black glasses head.
Those torsos even got separate "Uppar Part Numbers" (unlike the "red lips" heads, which got replaced at the same time):
147 - Green Vest with Blue Sunglasses
178 - Green Vest with Black Sunglasses

And yes, 6543 is a very good set.

By in Poland,

I'm from Poland and I'm pretty sure this minifig costs a bit more than PLN 0,65

By in United States,

This is the peak of Lego eyewear printing and you cannot change my mind.

By in United Kingdom,

Modern minifigure printing is better than in the '90s, but those old-style bulky life vests are better than the ones we have today.

By in United States,

The sunglasses are floating!

You gotta love this guy on the box art, sitting in his little Jet-ski, envying the other two guys with the speedboats.
