Quick look: 40759 Valentine's Day Box
Posted by Huw,
40759 Celebration Series: 2. Valentine's Day Box is an as-yet-unrevealed set that will presumably be a gift with purchase available sometime between now and then.
Although not named quite the same, I presume that 40758 Celebration: Ferris Wheel with Fireworks is number one in the 'celebration series'.
Let's open the box to see what's inside...
Summary
40759 Celebration Series: Valentine's Day Box, 172 pieces.
A lovely set to gift to your sweetheart
The set was provided for review by LEGO. All opinions expressed are those of the author.
The heart-shaped box, decorated with a white ribbon tied in a bow, is about 10.5cm wide. It stands on a small plinth embellished with flowers.
Transparent 2x2 slopes provide support for the pointy end of the heart, keeping it upright. The small lavender flower heads are new, having been introduced in the Botanical Garden and Wednesday sets last year.
The lid lifts off to reveal realistic and delicious-looking chocolates inside!
For some reason, they've been constructed on 2x4 and 2x6 plates rather than 2x2s, so they look like they are joined together.
It certainly makes a welcome change from the usual Valentine's fare of cute animals: it's both an attractive display model and potentially practical too, if you build it before gifting and put a ring inside...
I wonder what other events will be marked in the series?

@Huw did you try to put real chocolates inside? I wonder how many real chocolates you can put inside if you remove brick built ones :-)
What an awful name for a set. I hope that isn't the retail name. Valentine's Day Box or Valentine's Day Chocolate Box would be much better as it implies a one off purchase rather than appearing to be a collectable series of otherwise unrelated objects.

I'm going to have nightmares of chocolate-smeared bricks now...

Without wanting to state the obvious, that would depend on the size of the chocolates you want to put in it. The main space is obviously 6x6 studs so if you have 20mm square chocolates then you'll get four in there so long as they are not too tall. Whereas if you have smaller chocolates or Smarties or M&M's or similar then you will get a lot more in.

Ah, that romantic gift... a chocolate box filled with M&Ms...

It's what's printed on the box: 40759

Well some people are willing to buy almost anything for the sake of collection, aren't they? It's just a marketing strategy that's being used. Although it is a stupid name.

It seems to be consistent with LEGO's set names becoming more and more like contents descriptions or descriptions for retail purchasers.
The ribbon is neat, but other than that......no love at first sight.
Hmm... What an unusual taste these *chocolates* have, so nice of Lego to include them in the box. And they don't melt!
Rather hard on the teeth, though.

How ever many chocolates are able to be fitted in, I can guarantee that my fiancé will make them last a matter of seconds...
The chocolates look yummy!
My wife loves it and says it should be a day one buy!

Since I live in Belgium, I’m thinking of usual Belgian style bonbons you usually find in chocolate boxes over here
@alLEGOry_HJB2810 I obviously meant wrapped chocolates :-)

Put them in the oven and I'll bet you they melt ;-)
"Hey honey, I got you a box of chocolates!"
"You better have a romantic dinner in your back pocket there bub."
This is very nice! I love the way the chocolates look; they have great use of parts and colors.
Clever chocolate builds. Very fitting.
I feel like this is more likely to be a GWP instead of a retail set, since there's usually one Valentine's themed GWP every year and this hasn't been revealed unlike the other 2025 Valentine's sets (which are already available).
Also pearl gold makes a far more convincing caramel than it does gold.
I'm sure some member wives would divorce if they received this for Valentines day.
Great gift for the Diabetic lover in your life.
Usually when someone says you can buy the REAL thing for less than the LEGO version, I shake my head. But when it comes to chocolate… Well they might be on to something.

This version doesn't taste as good, but its components are easier to use for other things.
