Free LEGO with the Mail starting this weekend

Posted by ,

The Daily Mail website has today confirmed that the free LEGO promotion starts this weekend.

"...on Saturday they can help Wyldstyle battle one of evil Lord Business’ Micro Mangers from THE LEGO MOVIE. Then on Sunday they can join Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Mikey as he raises some shell’s with his turtle power.

"And there’s another fabulous FREE LEGO toy every day next week – a CITY Repair Lift on Monday, a Chima Phrax Phoenix on Tuesday, a CITY Police Watercraft on Wednesday, a Star Wars Jedi Interceptor on Thursday, a Chima Battle Bike on Friday, and last but not least the CITY Arctic Plane on Saturday. "

Which, I think, corresponds to the list first published by Brick Fanatics last month.

By in United States,

To Brickcreator: The Tuesday giveaway (Phoenix Flyer) is the USA LEGO.com bonus gift from July. The Friday one is the current LEGO.com bonus gift. I've recently seen both the CITY Repair lift and the Jedi Interceptor for sale for $3.99 at Toys R Us. TRU also sold the Ninja Turtle one and Police Watercraft earlier this year. Haven't seen the Lego Movie or Arctic Plane ones, though.

But hey, our newspapers sometimes come with McDonald's Monopoly pieces or little boxes of cereal!

By in United Kingdom,

You Americans get SO much in the way of Lego compared to us. You get sets early (heck, you got Galaxy Squad a full SIX MONTHS before we did) the prices are much cheaper over there, you get things like the toys r us model builds and Bricktober. So don't you complain!

To FuddRuckus, the 30264: Frax' Phoenix Flyer was a LEGO.com giveaway in July in the UK, not the US. It has not been seen in the US yet.

Blimey, this is like diecast discussions!

Americans complaining that they can't get sets, etc................yet in the diecast world, the whole focus is on the US and not ROW!

Some you win, some you use - you cannot have it all. You may just have to suck it up and move on - there are loads of things I see over in the US&A that I would dearly love, but have not a hope in hell of getting them.

By in Switzerland,

Forgot to add - I am not even interested in all of these models - just the Lego City ones...........so hopefully someone will be able to pick them up for me next week on Mon and Weds.

But it is good that there is a broad mix of ranges. Shame that in Germany they don't have any more polybags anymore............glad I bought them last year.

By in Singapore,

Meh all of you complaining over not getting sets and stuff...
Here in Asia, ALL sets cost double the US Prices, even higher than the UK. We don't get any polybags either

Anyone in need of them then drop me an email

Just found 30310 at target in Chicago in the Halloween section.

By in United Kingdom,

American prices are deceptive as Sales Tax is generally not shown on the ticket price but added later. Can't say we have a lot to complain about regarding polybag promotions here in the UK as a lot of places do worse than us - will an independent Scotland be included in future promotions I wonder.
The German toyshop Vedes has the 30310 Arctic Scout if anybody is looking for an alternative source. I picked up one at one of their Munich Airport branches - felt smug with myself only to find out the Daily Mail was giving them away a few days later.

Looking at the Daily Mail Website it looks like the person who took the 30244: Anakin's Jedi Interceptor picture didn't ever see the film, look at the packet or read the instructions.

Awesome, new Lego and as an added bonus, more paper with which to line our pet rabbit's cage!

By in New Zealand,

Would like a Mikey, Wyldstyle and the two Chima if there's someone out there who can post them to Aus...

By in United Kingdom,

What disgusts me is unscrupulous sods buying multiples then listing them on ebay to make a killing off what are essentially free items bought for little money....I like the Arctic Scout and City Repair Lift best, while I don't buy Chima, those two are okay looking....
