All I see are red boxes, and some yellow barrel things, what are these, "Electronic Goods?"

Electric train for goods, or train for electric goods? Or maybe both?

I'm sure the red boxes are just cases of electricity.

When does the 'Electric Bads' train show up?

Also...isn't this a Steam Train?...:)

By in Australia,

This train was a bit before my time, but I really liked the white refrigerated van, there, as a carriage. So several years ago, I tracked down the instructions, found the pieces (I had to improvise, because those small windows are impossible to find, and Lego doesn't really make that style of door anymore) and built one for myself.

I'm really grateful, you know, to all the people who made digital copies of all those old instructions. There weren't that many specialised pieces (still some, obviously), and even then, it's Lego. You're encouraged to improvise. I've built so many of the older trains, that way, and some of those older models were just wonderful.

You might need to re-read. It says ‘electric goods’, not ‘electronic’. Quite the difference.

By in United Kingdom,

Reminds me of The Legoland train in Billund which is electric! I always wondered if the forklift could go up the steep embankment, but we will never know as landscape not included?

A chuffing marvellous set!

For a moment I thought it was a VsotW again because of the steam locomotive at the front. Instead, this is a nice 12V classic!

By in United States,

Huh, I was just looking at this train a couple of days ago. The 12V early 80s trains were just so incredible, I wish I owned one.

"Electric bads?" Like Electro from Spider-Man?
