All these bananas remind me of something...

[Intro: Frogrus]
Charlie, you look quite down
With your big fat eyes and your big fat frown
The world doesn't have to be so gray
Charlie, when your life's a mess
When you're feeling blue, always in distress
I know what can wash that sad away

[Verse 1: Frogrus & (Charlie)]
All you have to do is:
Put a banana in your ear!
(A banana in my ear?)
Put a ripe banana right into your favorite ear!
It's true
(Says who?)
So true
Once it's in, your gloom will disappear
The bad in the world is hard to hear
When in your ear a banana cheers
So go and put a banana in your ear!

[Verse 2: Frogrus with Bananas, (Charlie), & Frogrus]
Put a banana in your ear!
(I'd rather keep my ear clear)
You'll never be happy if you live your life in fear
It's true
(Says you)
So true
When it's in the skies are bright and clear
Oh, every day of every year
The sun shines bright on this big blue sphere
So go and put a banana in your e-e-e-e-ear!

By in Germany,

At least he has 2 regular minifig pieces.

EDIT:
Ali der Affe/Ingo the Monkey had 8 but isn't considered a minifig, hm.

When you make your characters largely generic and indistinguishable from each other but still insist on giving them all names…

By in United Kingdom,

They are considered minifigures by bricklink as they are named characters from a licensed property that are not animals.

Finally, a person of culture! This is the cultural heritage the banana should be revered for, not this blight of sentient Tic Tac hellspawns.

In fairness, in the original Despicable Me they WERE indeed meant to be functionally indistinguishable from one another; the point was that despite that, Gru knew them all by name as an indication that he genuinely cared about them as individuals, serving as an early hint towards him having a decent side before the rest of the movie brought it out more fully.

Of course, that nuance got lost as the minions started to take over the franchise from DM2 onwards, resulting in the creation of more 'unique' minion characters like this who were intended to stand out to the audience while as the same time not departing far from the traditional minion design...

It isn’t. RMotD is drawn from Bricklink’s database which incorrectly labels almost all figures/characters as ‘minifigures’ even when they don’t contain at least two of the three parts of the patented minifigure.

Unless you're voiced by Steve Carell, you are not the boss of these minifigures.

That’s the thing, though. They are actually distinguishable from each other. Minion Dave is the only named one that is known to have been in all six movies. Kevin from Minions is distinctly different from Kevin from Despicable Me. Stuart used to be the shortest at one point, but now Bob (the only one with heterochromia) is. Then again, Tim from Despicable Me 4 looks exactly like Kevin from Minions…
