Random minifig of the day: min189
Posted by Huwbot,
Today's random minifigure is min189 Ender Explorer - Helmet, a Minecraft figure that came in one set, 21264 The Ender Dragon and End Ship, released during 2024.
Our members collectively own a total of 541 of them. If you'd like to buy one you should find it for sale at BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $7.40.

When was the last time we had a Minecraft Minifig as the rmotd?
Is this a secret hint that at Minecraft Live tomorrow they'll announce the End Update!?
No... its probably gonna be something aquatic, but I CAN DREAM!!!

June: https://brickset.com/article/122686/random-minifig-of-the-day-min071 If you're limiting yourself to minifigs that fit Lego's definition, May: https://brickset.com/article/121458/random-minifig-of-the-day-min161
So there's a Minecraft turtle suit minifig. If that stupid helmet came in at least one shade of blue, purple, red, and orange, I'd be a lot happier than my bank account would.
@PurpleDave:
Teenaged Minecraft Ninja Turtles,
Teenaged Minecraft Ninja Turtles,
TEENAGED MINECRAFT NINJA TURTLES,
Better-than-'their'-movie...:D
At first glance I hoped it was an ocean-themed minifig to tie in to today's MC Live (very probable) ocean update announcement. Alas, an End-theme minifig can only mean one thing: END UPDATE CONFIRMED!!! /s
(Boy do I hate how everyone online has been constantly demanding an End update at every turn for the past six months... I like my barren wasteland in the void at the end of time very much as-is, thank you.)
With Minecraft’s pixelated style I can’t tell if that’s supposed to be just decoration or an ARC Reactor on his chest. Are Stark Industries looking into void exploration now?

If you're limiting yourself to minifigs that fit Lego's definition, May: https://brickset.com/article/121458/random-minifig-of-the-day-min161"
And if you're limiting yourself to this specific figure, it was also in May:

Wow, sharp observation! Do you somehow keep track on how often certain minifigures appeared more than once here as RMotD? Are there more examples? I mean, I read these articles and all comments on a daily basis -mostly- but after a couple of days at most I have already forgotten which was when!

I just clicked to see the set it came from, and then I saw (under the "News" tab) that it was listed as Random Minifig twice. At first I thought it was just a bug/oddity with the site, but then I realized it was two different dates.

If you click on "Random Minifig" at the top of the article, you can go through the history of the feature. (Hint: Set it to show one hundred at a time, it'll go faster if you want to look for something that way.) @axeleng: That also works for minifigs that have been in more than one set, and thus whose RMotD article doesn't show up on any one set's database page.
