Today's random set is 8071 Bucket Truck, released during 2011. It's one of 11 Technic sets produced that year. It contains 593 pieces, and its retail price was US$49.99/£40.99.
It's owned by 2,651 Brickset members. If you want to add it to your collection you should find it for sale at BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $89.00, or eBay.

There's just something funny about this double-posting.
Something about the white design and the white background makes this image hard to look at, in a way that the previous RSotD didn't.
oh my god my beloved, i remember getting this for christmas when i was 6, was the one thing i asked for. i remember spending that day just building it bit by bit by bit, such a good simple set, the functions work, the steering is shockingly tight, and aesthetically it's a nice looking truck, very very good set 9/10

Cool set, never seen this before. Seemed kinda pricey though, even more considering its age. In retrospect it makes 42203 look a bit less overpriced. Infinitely cooler set than that one though.
