57 seems almost mercifully low. :P
There are some very nice projects here. La Catrina and the Knight are probably the standouts for me; there are too many buildable items these days, but Lego doesn't often do a great job with buildable figures and these two are quite nice. That said, I don't really see myself getting any of these if they were made except for the Roman temple, because I love ancient history and aside from a few Collectible minifigures and odd Architecture sets Lego doesn't offer much to fill that niche. (Also I would buy a Last Airbender set with Aang and Appa, but if that was going to happen it would have by now.)
That's a lot of nice builds. I think I would buy the jukebox and bridges set.
I like a lot, though I don't think any will be chosen. Maybe the synth? I would personally love ASCENSOR DA BICA.
It's the biggest announcement ever because they will reveal that the Lego Ideas team is so fed up with sifting through dozens of submissions related to all these TV shows, music artists / videos, and rehashes of previously successful Ideas projects that they will discontinue Lego Ideas with immediate effect, delete all the content on the Lego Ideas website, and pull off all remaining Lego Ideas stock from all stores.
My first impression is that Lego probably will steer clear from music superfandom - and those old-ish TV shows - as their fans seem to mostly support the idea but don't necessarily buy the product stemming from the execution.
Visually, my favourites are Mary Poppins, Back to Cherry Tree Lane and Ascensor da Bica. I'm also partial to the "non-modular" Grand Central Station... for modular reasons.
The Roman creations are fine, but they seem like they'd be a bit on the boring side as a building experience and would therefore need lots of refinement in the design process.
As much as I like the Periodic Table, it barely feels like Lego as it mostly relies on prints or stickers to achieve it's goal.
But having flown to the Arctic on numerous occasions on one of Nolinor's 737, I really want it to get selected as it's the one I most personally connect to.
Wow, so many based on shows! La Catrina is lovely.
A lot more random films/TV etc where there isn't much intersect between Lego fans and Gilmore Girls etc.
Paddington on the other hand is a licence that appeals to children, so is more likely.
Please @Brickset only post a link to the video and no spoilers in the title of the post, the images/thumbnails and text of the post
Bob Ross and Mary Poppins are probably the two I want the most.
But alas, since Ideas still hasn't changed the vote threshold after over a decade, realistically we're probably getting two projects no one will care about like Twice and Love Enlighten Me.
I'd get the Golden Girls and Christmas Vacation.
A lot of very nice submissions in there. The ones I would be interested in buying are Portal core replacement, Grand Central Station, potentially Scooby Doo and Mary Poppins. Even the periodic table of elements could be interesting (I assume low cost) but they would have to make it quite a bit less drab that this. There are quite a few were I would not be surprised if they make it but I would have no interest for them myself. Let's hope they meet the fancy of most!

I do hope for La Catrina and the knight. They're very unique builds and as you said, they stand out nicely from the usual Ideas submissions. I'd also throw in for the cuckoo clock and the junkyard, those are fascinating builds. And then personal bias would adore the Halloween House for concept, but the execution is a bit played out and lacks the Halloween fun factor that the name would imply.
Junkyard and Art of Japan, those I like. Others, I can live without.
The Art of Japan is absolutely striking. Old Man and the Sea is incredible too. That's about it for me.
LOL at Ramen though, that's a fun build.
I want Heartstopper and E.T. to complete the collection of Steven Spielberg dioramas with 77015 76956 and 21350
La Catrina is my favorite build, but the tin toy is still one I love. If LEGO remade the Clockwork Robot head mold and used the Robot Butler's lower body, a minifigure equivalent could be paired with the model, bit in no way do I expect that.
I feel like the ideas program needs to up the threshold of votes needed to qualify. More and more people vote for ideas and so more and more ideas get in the pool. Too many for my taste....
The name "La Catrina" caused a musical sting to pop into my head, associated with a weird little serial I watched in high school Spanish class that I otherwise can't remember at all.
The ones I'd be interested in seeing the results if they progress further
Jukebox with Bluetooth Speaker
Jellyfish Collection
The Holiday - Rosehill Cottage
Minimoog Analog Synthesizer
Working Cuckoo Clock
Paddington Bear
And my favourite... Art of Japan
Oh. This again.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skCQISEUVXM
The Art of Japan, Jellyfish Collection and La Catrina are my top three, but I shall be very surprised if any of them are picked.
There's a lot here I can being rejected, because of build and modular style, like Grand Central Station, which I love, but I know it won't go through. Mediterranean Restaurant and Haunted House will probably be rejected too for the same reason.
The cuckoo clock has been done by another company.
Lego Ideas really needs to refine the requirements to voting list by more than the number of votes.
Hmmm.
Lots of nice MOCs, but nothing I’d want to buy.
The old man and the sea looks pretty cool, same goes for the haunted house, but my favorite by far has to be the two lanterns on the bench, so cute and they look really good
I like La Catrina. I would not buy it as a set but it looks really impressive.
I would buy a new Scooby Doo set day 1 as long as there were plenty of tricks and traps inside the building.
I only have any connection to the Disney projects, but LEGO has the Disney license.
A lot of amazing things here. I can't even begin to predict which will get picked. But if it is the biggest review period, does that mean the most selected or the most reviewed?
I think thanks to financial reasons I'll likely skip whatever does get picked.
Beautiful lampposts
I thought that they had banned things like the "OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY MARCHING BAND", where it is tied to a single college or university and so has a very small interest base.
The junk yard is quite nice, but whatever they choose I think I'll be skipping whatever the big thing is they are doing. I find IDEAS has become a bit stale these days.
Apparently, the only reason Ohio State Marching Band got 10k is because they advertised it A LOT on campus.
Edit: I want Art of Japan, the E.T. Wall Art, and the Griswold Family Christmas House are top of my list...
So many projects seem to be trying to ride the coat tails of known, passed projects. I'm definitely over sitcoms and musical artists. Ideas is the chance to do something never seen before. I prefer the more artistic ones like Art of Japan or La Catrina.
I do like the mini-moog, but not enough to buy it and I don't see them picking that one anyway. Periodic table is interesting, but I don't see Lego printing 100+ custom parts, nor giving us a sheet of 100+ stickers for it. I'm very impressed with the Cuckoo clock--I attempted to build one of my own some years ago, but it would only run for an hour at best--pushing it further made it unreliable and would just stop due to the friction. Power functions seems like a bit of a cheat, though, and will probably cause it to fail.
I want the Coraline house as I'm a sucker for Victorian houses, even though I don't like the movie (I watched it as a kid and it traumatized me as I DON'T do scary films / books!) However, I know it will never get picked though for good reasons I'm not getting into...
My favorites are The Old Man and the Sea, Jellyfish Collection, Doofenshmirtz Evil inc., and Art of Japan!
The constant IP models are getting tiring. They look good but they're all blending together at this point - I love How I Met Your Mother, but I don't think we need another sitcom apartment set. That being said, I was working on my own HIMYM submission for Ideas a few years ago and I'd definitely buy it :D
The La Catrina model is also really impressive. Excited to see what will win!
Isn't Power Rangers a rehash of 21311 Voltron?
Wow! So many good projects. Taylor Swift hopes live on!
I'd probably get either of the Roman sets or the Bob Ross, and the bridges would make a great gift for my civil engineer-dad who introduced me to LEGO 20 years ago...
I want the Jellyfish and the Megazord. The modulars look nice too.
Betting a smooth million dollars they give us Fresh Prince or Brooklyn 99 instead...
E.T. and Art of Japan for me but I can see Griswold Family Christmas getting supported as it nicely replaces the Home Alone house which retires this year. I don't see the attraction of all the sitcom sets but I guess they sell well.
Not that many that stand out to me.
* To start at the bottom, I would love to have any Ghibli set, but unlikely to ever happen.
* The Lifeboat looks great....but would I buy it?
* Civil Engineering: Types of Bridges is one I do really like.
* Kinetic Tin Toy is one case where I do like the idea, but not so much the excecution. Needs some work.
* Working Cuckoo Clock....as long as it actually works.
They look great.
There are several fantastic looking sets that I have my doubts will move on for one reason or another. But the designers did a fantastic job regardless.
I like the Coraline House, because of the more vibrator colors and it aestic off the House, I dont Think it will make the cut because off the story behind, that is strange and wonderfull at the same time.
I really also like the lamppost, and it would be a day One buy for me, the allegory of love.
Art of Japan, La Catrina and E.T. Diorama Looks like the could become very beautyfull builds, but not on my wishlist if they make it.

Isn’t ___ a rehash of ___? In this review cycle? The answer is “yes.”
There are some great ideas and builds in here. I have a feeling that Appa, Taylor Swift Lover House, Fresh Prince, Evil Inc. and Ghibli each will advance. And of course Mary Poppins. That one looks practically perfect in every way.
The only one here that I'd really be excited to see get chosen is the Studio Ghibli one right at the end - the combination of so many of their well-loved movies into a single scene makes it hugely attractive to me, more so than other projects that just pick a single of their movies or scenes - but I don't have high hopes for it based on past experience.
Otherwise... well, there are some very cool builds here of course, but nothing else that I'd consider, personally.
Doofus Schnitzel's evil lab, Grand Train station, Apple store and Scooby-Doo look the best. Fight me
Go Go Power Rangers!
As a lover of colorful mechs/droids/robots I love this megazord!
Also the Daft Punk duo looks cool, but in a smaller ( more affordable ) set please
I like the ET design and think it has a fair chance. The lamps on the bench is small, evocative, and I could see it getting through.
La Catrina, Old man and the sea are similarly colorful, well-designed, and convey life/motion - they seem plausible.
Mary Poppins feels like it has an outside chance, but you never really know with these things.
So many of these are awesome. I’d love to see the Pink Palace from Coraline (though I think the odds are slim considering how many times variations of this have gone through IDEAS). I also love The World of Studio Ghibli and I like that it combines so many of those stories in one comprehensive set, and would love to see the Mary Poppins set or the Scooby Doo Ravenswood Mansion. I like that Boeing 737 set too; there are so many awesome concepts in this round.
Paddington or the Periodic table for me. I would love more Rome-related things, but sadly they kind of cancel each other out here. Medieval Knight or Central Station would be cool as well. As for the rest, man, this is one of the least interesting rounds for me in a long time.

I remember when that one went live, back when I still tracked such things. It got over 8k in well under 72 hrs, but then monotonously climbed to 10k many months later. The whole thing was pretty bizarre.

LEGO has Harry Potter as a tentpole theme and other merchandisers continue to make Coraline products undisturbed. I don't think LEGO has this concern. Coraline is actually my favorite film, but I agree it's a bit weird to back it now. I'd expect no hesitance from LEGO to license it, though, and there are better excuses since it's an old Laika Studios product written and directed in the vision of Henry Selick and it's more distanced from current creator controversies than HP. I don't think PR is any obstacle to LEGO selecting a Coraline model, though the IP has never won Ideas and doesn't seem to have good odds on that precedent.
Crossing fingers for the Griswold house and E.-T.! The Mediterranean Restaurant is the best-looking project, closely followed by the Grand Central Station. Inasmuch as I like the Smurfs, I'm not sure they would translate well into LEGO. But who knows, after all, if Tintin actually makes it into production, another Belgian comic book in brick form might work.
Liking the moog….. and it’ll be cheaper than the real thing. Strange to have two national lampoon houses though - the second one definitely looks better - would be great if it lights up with fairy lights.
At this point for me it's all just way too much. Overkill and repetitive submissions. Of course a few are neat but I'm just out on the endless 18+ sets that come out every other day.
I think 1) Bob Ross, 2) Paddington or Pizza Planet 3) Brooklyn 99 or Fresh Prince House, most of which depending on obtaining rights. I'd love to see a working cuckoo clock too
Only interested in tv shows "Frasier" and "third rock from the sun". Can someone build them and submit please?
So I guess that the "Ancient Roman Temple" here (which is more like an Architecture set) is in this round, and then the larger "Roman Forum" (which is a much larger "playset" type of set, similar to the old Medieval Market Village) has already passed 10,000 and it will be in the next round...? Is that right? Not sure!
Somehow, I am pessimistic, since they passed over a wonderful Trojan Horse and a cool Egyptian Fort, but maybe they just wanted to hold out to do a Roman set first, and they knew that at least two were about to pass 10,000 on Ideas...? Well, at least this will give a final answer on Ancient World play-sets! =)
Welp, bracing for ultimate disappointment!! =D
Favorites are Ascensor da Bica (funicular), Bob Ross, and Bridges.
Will pass on the rest even though I like some of the source material (National Lampoon, The Holiday, Gilmore Girls). I don't need a set for those though.
An Apple store? Really??
Plus three suburban houses from B-tier Christmas movies, two random music videos, and four studio sets from old sitcoms.
When so many great ideas have been snubbed over the years, having a pool like this is pretty dull.
I just want Wheatley and the synth. Maybe Power Rangers.
I agree with the many comments that this is a particularly mediocre lineup this time around.
(which is not of course to disrespect the fan designers or take away from their achievement of gaining 10,000 supporters for their project)
The Old Man & The Sea
Lots of great building techniques. A very famous novel worthy of lego representation. Boat could be improved but may be based off a specific illustration.
Junkyard:
A unique idea that Id love to get given all the vintage/classic cars. We have never really gotten a junkyard before (I do not count the weird Hot Wheels ripoff thing from City) and it's something that can appeal to children and adults who are fans of city/realistic subjects without being a modular building or CITY theme specific.
Grand Central Station:
I want this. Fans have been asking for a modular train station for years and Lego keeps ignoring us (I dont know why). It is a really great model, I love the exterior architecture especially including the oxidised copper roof.
It is unlikely to be chosen but I hope it is so that lego can finally give us a wide release Icons level train station. It would also be a good companion to the IDEAS Orient Express set.
Mary Poppins:
We have had a number of Mary Poppins projects, I'm puzzled why random sitcoms have been chosen over it.
The build itself will appeal to building/city/realistic/historical fans so that's great, as well as MP fans.
Peter Rabbit:
Similar to MP, the licence itself is a much loved children's story (including recent remakes although naturally the originals are best). But also the build itself has appeal to city/realistic/building fans as a general house and garden which we dont see very often from lego.
The big announcement is that they're going to do Ideas mash-up sets. We'll have La Catrina riding the Medieval Knight's horse, ET will be putting money into a Jukebox, and the Fresh Prince's family will move into a mushroom village with the Golden Girls.
Watch as Coraline loses again :/

For all Rowling’s many sins, her actions are less comparable to Gaiman’s than the goings-on at Blizzard, and Lego did cut the Overwatch theme based on those. And I don’t think Coraline would make so very much more money than Overwatch to tip the scales on those grounds.
I love IDEAS but am not always enamored with the final selections. This, however, is a promising batch where a number could get my purchase.
Peter Rabbit is probably my favorite. And while I don’t love the Smurfs build, I love the Smurfs and LEGO has a tendency to chase the concept more than the execution…
Junkyard, Bob Ross, and Grand Central Station are my favourites, but there are plenty of other nice ones too this time around.
Let's just see.
A lot of these seem very similar to other sets that have come out recently, or probably appeal to such a limited audience that they'll end up at 50% off within a year. I know I probably underestimate how popular some tv-series are... but meh....
Also, I don't really love things that are pure display pieces, where the joy is in the final display rather than the building process. It's why I avoid architectural sets. They seem to just be dust-collectors. Sort through these 1000 pieces in almost the same shade of white to make a difficult to dust interior decorating piece.
I really really really want heartstopper

But then other people do like those sets, and that is why it is good to have a diverse range of types of sets make it through IDEAS and also in the main range of sets.
Hmmm, and in general, is there one other round of approvals that is already in motion?
Is it just this other round from the summer that had 146 sets qualify, or are there more...?
https://brickset.com/article/124571/146-projects-qualify-for-second-2025-lego-ideas-review
Thanks!
Interested in HIMYM and the Smurfs village
"The Old Man and the Sea" took my breath away. I love it.
Also on the last of "would probably buy" are the bridges, which I'm pretty sure have made it to review before, the junkyard, and the Bob Ross painting.
Given Lego's love affair with 80's nostalgia-pandering, there's a lot for them to pick in this batch.
I hear the Will Smith minifigure slaps.

Perhaps, but Overwatch was a much more active related franchise to the Blizzard controversy at the time LEGO backed out. Coraline is a standalone film that released a over ten years ago with no production involvement from the disgraced creator other than his source material and blessing to let Henry Selick make it his own. It's a less radioactive property to license, I think, than Overwatch was at that time, even if it's still uncomfortable and I'd respect any company's decision to steer clear.
