Minecraft Advent Calendar - Day 14

Yesterday brought us another micro mob, the Warden, so I expect today to bring us another minifig-scale thing. I'm predicting another object this time, to help fill out the scene more...

In fact, there are two items today!

Here we have a bookshelf and a lectern, which are perfect for any village. It uses a repeated book print from Day 9 (also included in 21279 The Enderman Tower), but I think it works well.

The bookshelf looks good, too, and the torch is a nice touch.

Overall - 3.0 - Simple, but effective!

I think this is the first lectern we get in Minecraft LEGO. Therefore it deserves a 5.0.

I feel like it might be the first lectern they’ve ever released. They made two Fire Starter Sets for budding arsonists, but wisely drew the line at releasing a Politics Starter Set.
