I believe the pieces used for the double-bladed ghost sword only ever appeared in Ninjago...also first comment :)

By in New Zealand,

The set name makes you expect a cross-over with Star Wars and Ninjago with a Jay themed AT-AT.

And nowadays, he's Jay Walker Two. Or maybe Three? I don't know, I never paid too close attention to Ninjago continuity since it kind of doesn't matter when they do a soft reboot every 3 years, but I know he's not really this Jay anymore.

Yeah, my first thought was, "Looks like more of a Jay Roller."

The rollout at that time of the 1×2 modified brick facade had one or two appearing in every set possible. This drove me mad.

Nope, they were also used in an alternate color combination in the Nexo Knights sets 70321 and 70339, and in a solid color as the mantis's forelimbs in 21342 The Insect Collection! Ninjago was definitely where they saw the MOST use, though: first in this summer 2015 wave, and next in the Ninjago Legacy set 70738 eight years later.

Pretty sure the name is a reference to Ecto-1!

I’m pretty sure you can’t Jay Walk when you’re driving a vehicle.

Arsoner, Murderer, and Jaywalker combine to form the Crime Fusion Mech!

What, weren't Blackmailer, Counterfeiter, or Hijacker available?

Someone stole them.

One of the only sets that used the Hero Factory alien jumper containment units outside of the theme. I remember liking the look of the car but being bothered by the asymmetry. I also disliked that Jay didn't come with his armor. Overall the set was quite good though and certainly very generous with the villains.

All the mechs they have in Ninjago that actually walk around on actual legs and they give the name “Walker” to something with wheels…
Guys…guys I don’t think you’re good at names

To clear up a bit of seeming confusion in the comments... it's called Jay Walker One because Jay's last name canonically is Walker. Yes, his full name is Jay Walker. (Along with Cole Bucket, Kai Smith, etc... though I'm not sure those ones are canon; the Ninjago writers are very creative people....)

I didn't know that either back when this set was first revealed, so I thought it was a very odd name back then too. And now, with @socal_bricks 's comment, I'm just realizing the full pun in the name - it's definitely a play on Ecto-1, since they're both ghost-catching cars. Fascinating!

Oh yeah, good set too, and from one of the best waves Ninjago ever had.

"JAY! JAY, WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT-- JAY, WE NEED TO DISCUSS-- JAY, TURN DOWN THE ENGINE! WHAT? NO, THE ENGINE OF YOUR GIANT THUNDER-TANK! THUNDER! TANK! ENGINE! Yes, thank you, that's better. Hey, let's talk about your colour-scheme, we just don't think it's very stealthy. We're ninjas, my guy!"

This wave was ahead of its time in that it started at the rather large 20,- pricepoint and only became larger from there. This is the 3rd smallest set of the wave at 40,- I'm not counting the 30294 Cowler Dragon polybag, which wasn't readily available here and went for about 10,- by sellers at the time. I believe it was a GWP. At the time it was understandable though because the january Tournament of Elements wave had plenty of small pricepoint sets. There were also the Airjitzu flyers, but I hestitate to consider those regular buildings sets.

Anyway, this one was a limited edition at the time. It was the most ghostbusters inspired set of the line. There were some minor play functions but it's mostly a big honking car which you can pretend-catch ghosts with.
That said, the wheels are the medium Space wheels in black, which was nice!

The Ninjago characters have been around for about 6 months longer looking like they did in the movie than they did in OG Ninjago.
