Amazing to think that print was still being used in 2015 (it would continue to be used until 2018). It's such a garbage looking pizza with its yellow dough covered in sauce with vegetable pepperonis and little sprinkles of maybe cheese, and yet, that is the LEGO pizza, it just works. The newer pizzas don't feel right because they look like actual pizza.

I'd never really thought about how under-cheesed that pizza is before reading that.

Depends on where you get your pizza. Detroit-style, they switch up the layers, with the pepperoni getting covered, and I think the sauce might go on top. But the one time my parents took me to one of those places, it looked like a Jackson Pollock painting. There was one bite of the entire pizza that had pepperoni, cheese, and sauce all stacked up together. And there was more than one bite that was just bare (deep dish) crust surrounded on all sides by toppings. Saddest pizza I ever ate.

Best pizza I ever ate was the day before I started college, when my parents took me to a local place in my old hometown. I ordered a double pepperoni, and you should have seen this thing. There was about an inch of bare crust around the edge. Then about a quarter inch of sauce peeking out next to that, and a quarter inch of cheese doing the same next to that. And the entire rest of the pie was pepperonis laid out like a tasty, tasty target. And it wasn’t swimming in grease! They pre-cooked the pepperoni before adding it to the pizza, so the grease got left behind. I forgot to take the leftover pizza with me to college, and it still haunts me to this day.

By in Turkey,

I got this little set for my daughter, but my ulterior motive was to get that red Vespa. It's a beautiful mold.

Having played Majora's Mask, the phrase "when the moon hits your eye" becomes kind of literal.

Also, I don't think I can ever hear "That's amore" as anything other than "That's Majora" now, but I take solace in knowing that the same probably goes for everyone else who's played that game, and we only have three days left to live anyway.

I agree the scooter is the best part of this set, and sadly missing from the pizzeria restaurant 41311.

It does so much with so few parts. I'm impressed.
