It’s a polybag, so availability might have been scarce, and there wouldn’t have been much marketing for it.

By in New Zealand,

That's not a flying dinosaur, it's a flying reptile.

Lego clearly needs to read up on paleontology.

Not a Dino-or at least, the one in that picture isn’t.

That and this set came out long before I was into LEGO.

For real. That's such a pet peeve of mine.

And it doesn't even fly.

Unless you throw it really, really hard.

You don’t know that. Maybe it goes business class.

This was part of a 3-set (maybe 4?) Kabaya line (probably the last one too). Sold in what looked a bit like paper ice cream cups, only that the set's artwork was printed all along.

The other ones were a green T-rex and a grey long-neck (pick your species).

The T-rex at least was also sold alongside candy brand Smarties in Germany in canister style packaging, which re-used the RoboRiders/Toa canisters together with a varying colores cap with a Lego stud on it. Given how one set re-appeared elsewhere, I wouldn't surprised the others saw multiple appearances too.

A bit odd how misleading the saturation on this image is regarding the actual colors... Though the Kabaya cups didn't fare better on that behalf.

Of course it's not a dinosaur... It's just a bunch of bricks and plates.

I've never seen a double post do that.

That's not flying, that's falling, and not even with style!

Much like a ninja with a weak bladder, the P is silent.

Aww, a baby pterosaur from the same species as the one in 4507 Prehistoric Creatures!
