Build your own Batmobile

If you didn't get to SDCC this year to grab a Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile and don't fancy paying the going rate on eBay, you can now build your own thanks to these instructions that have been produced by jsutton who has reversed-engineered it and used LDraw (or similar) to produce them.

I just completed these in Bricksmith myself. I could have saved myself some time ;-)
Undecided whether to make this, I did buy the batman juniors set (as the figures look very similar and I have to have one of every theme...well most) I cheated and built my SDCC Ghost by simply watching a video review on youtube and pausing every few secs.... But well done James for your time and effort its there now and people can build one today or in 5 years time from the instructions.

I just BL the parts two build two of these. Subbed out the rarer black 1x2 jumper and the red 1x2 tri slope for the more common versions.
Can't wait to get the parts.
^^Jdawg26 I just did the same thing for the TRU Bat Signal (no TRU store in my area). Found enough parts on BL to make two of them! Looks like my next project is the mini-Batmobile.
I like the one neoape took from that video, because the printed pieces on the other one are actually not the right designs. It takes nearly everything else verbatim from the official instructions, though, so that's cool.

We have Bag End, The Ghost, and Rocket's Warbird. We're still working on building this up (as well as a better UI)
I would love to see TLG come out with a UCS version of this car! I still remember seeing repeats of the old series with Adam West.
I also live in the vain hope that we might see a proper version of this, UCS or just regular system scale. If they did I'd really like to see a new cowl piece cast to better match the Adam West batman design.
You never know, the 60s mode of Lego Batman 3 might do something to help it.
@jpetrasich, that's a great resource! Do you have a machine readable index I can import here so I can link to them?
@Huw: Great idea. It would enable the people interested (and who read Brickset) to build them by ordering the parts off ReBrickable. If you added the parts inventories for them by looking at the instructions?
