By in New Zealand,

Love that blade piece. I've always associated it with 7626 Jungle Cutter.

A wolf riding a lobster would be a very strange sight to see.

By in United States,

I don't remember this one, but it's one of the more interesting-looking Speedorz sets out there.

By in United States,

As one does, I was having a normal conversation with normal people and somehow I brought up Chima today…

I’m not obsessed I promise

Not quite as interesting as doing so wielding multiple saws!

He’s not _weilding_ saws, though. He’s trying to ride between them.

By in Australia,

As opposed to the *regular* giant blades.

You were having a normal conversation with normal people?
Why? Why would you do that?
:)

One of the favorite from the line! Our family was a big fan of these (obviously)!

Clearly in need of hospitalization. Unless...wait, were you by any chance talking to public attendees who were viewing a LEGO display you were involved with?

I suppose that's possible... but why would you let the conversation drift away from Lego to "normal"?

You can't even get a good fable out of it like you can with a scorpion riding a frog.

To paraphrase Philip J. Fry, abnormal is better than normal.

When you’re standing in front of a LEGO display, it’s expected that you’re going to talk about the LEGO display, thus making that the only normal subject for discussion. You’ll have to trust me on this. I’ve done around 200 LEGO displays, and it’s the non-LEGO discussions that are few and far between.

By in Netherlands,

This kind of speedor opens up to place the fig in there instead of you needing to disassemble the thing.

Not much else to say here except maybe that it reminds me of the couple of speedorz sets that were cancelled from around the same time. We know the names and set numbers, I recall.

By in Brazil,

My father always tried to buy me Chima sets when I was younger, but I never let him. I was always asking for Star Wars sets, and at the time, I would’ve been very interested in Ninjago, and if I knew the lore (which is highly unlikely) that may have been the reason I shunned Chima sets so heavily at the time. This one? I mean, it’s fine, I can’t really judge it by Chima standards, not knowing what those are, but I like the dark red 4x4 angled element at the tip of the saw blade contraption, which in and of itself, looks rather intriguing. Chima’s aesthetic never really appealed to me, which may play a part in my indifference towards the theme currently.

Good news! That part has been released in dark-red a few times in the past five years, so it’s possible to get ones that are not brittle-dark-red. Just probably not from this set.

Well, it's hard to ever live up to the high bar set by yesterdays's set and minifigure.

There is no such thing as normal / average, as it implies (at least) two people are exactly the same, which is impossible.
