Before I zoomed in, I thought that her shirt depicted an early 80s Donkey Kong-style platform game.

I'm just saying, that dog on Nova's hoodie was just a regular dog before she decided to stretch it out. Nobody asked her to do that.

And why is she hitting Pickles with that stick? Is she angry because he won't sit? Nova, you know why that is. You know who did that, and you need to stop calling her "Other Nova".

I remember Mabel had a sweater with a similar stretched dog design to that in one episode of Gravity Falls (Society of the Blind Eye, I want to say...?), but I've never seen one like it in real life. Makes me wonder if this minidoll is specifically a GF reference - probably unlikely, admittedly, especially since the colours are different -, or if they're *both* referencing something else that I'm unaware of.

I’ve seen shirts with other animals that wrap all the way around the back, but with more normal proportions.

Sure? As a likely-Autistic kid, endlessly collecting variants of the same minifigure in different outfits, and variants of the same outfits in different colors, is probably right up her alley.
