Just a year has passed since 75403 Grogu with Hover Pram was launched and another version of Din Djarin's young charge has been revealed, ahead of The Mandalorian and Grogu's release.
This model contains 1200 pieces and seems quite similar to 75318 The Child from 2020, though with some additional Mandalorian accessories on this occasion. The set will be available from April 26th, costing £119.99, $129.99 or €129.99.

Build a playful centrepiece with this LEGO Star Wars Grogu (Mandalorian Apprentice) building toy for kids (75446). Recreate Grogu’s beskar armour and satchel, as worn in Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. Place a blue cookie accessory in his hand and put one in his satchel to snack on later. Move the lever to turn Grogu’s head, adjust his mouth, ears, hands and fingers and reattach the arms in different ways to create characteristic poses. Display the brick-built model alongside the Grogu info plaque and standard-size Grogu LEGO figure to create a cute Star Wars decoration to delight any fan.

Am I impressed? Not really - This is our third baby Yoda / child / Grogu large scale model, and it's kind of getting old. The featured accessories in this set are also a bit of "Malibu Stacy: Now with NEW hat!" if I'm being honest...
I wonder if Grogu is going to hold a record for non Minifigure scale brick built figures.
Those ears are way too thick and chunky, with not enough of the inner tan area.
Between the SMART Play sets and the Mandalorian sets which pretty much all look like things we've seen a dozen times before, it seems like it's going to be a very poor year for Lego Star Wars.

Whatever you think of the model as a whole, you've got to admit that "Favorite snacks" may be the best stat in an info plaque yet.

The rumored UCS SSD better be a fantastic build with only printed parts at a reasonable price point if 2026 LSW is going to be anything to write home about.

The arms on the box image look weird. Like Gorgu’s right arm starts halfway his body and then reaches up.
Remember how amazing it was that the Disney marketing team kept Grogu in the original Mandalorian series under wraps and did not make any toys featuring him to guarantee that there would be no leaks to spoil his reveal in the show? Despite the fact that they’d be leaving money on the table?
Feels like they are definitely trying to make up for that now.
I liked the old one's face better.

He'll have to overtake Baby Groot first, and it seems like they put out a new one of him every other year too. Guess we'll see which of them outlasts the other in the end though.

The arm anatomy looks inexcusable in the raised position, where the shoulder appears to be comimg out of Grogu's waist. How can that have been approved as the design, let alone the main promo shot??
