I get you guys have to pay the bills, but these third-party advertisements are just weird.

Why?
These are LEGO-related products that might be of interest to readers, particularly if they are available at a discount.
If Brickset make some money this way, the better in my book.

By in Portugal,

I ordered from that site and then had to pay almost the same amount in EU import taxes... Good idea for you to leave the EU... I hope you keep losing EU customers... At least you lost me.

UK based shops not an option anymore!

The taxes are down to your government, not ours.

As someone who has been to the UK every year from 1978 to 1998 (and again once in 2018), let me just say that I think Brexit has been a terrible thing - for everyone.

Is it a discount for just this one specific case?
Not a discount for any order?

If it were off of any case, the article would have said so.

Just checking. You think with Brickset articles they never make a mistake or leave out any information?
LOL

I'd also recommend @edmi to study that that tax invoice - often it turns out that the actual tax/VAT is fairly reasonable, but about 80-90% of the total is excessive processing fees, deliberately set to make such small purchases unaffordable. Heaven forbid that the average person should benefit from international trade, not to mention that most people buys abroad not to save money, but because what they want isn't available domestically.
