Looks perfect!
This would probably look very good next to the star wars buildable droids, although not in scale as the buildable R2-D2 is taller than this (9.5 inches) yet in universes Herbie would be taller than R2-D2 (4'8 to 3'6)
Definitely wish it came w/ a minifig-scale Herbie, but otherwise it looks just about perfect!
Hello? The price (in GBP at least) looks reasonable at first glance? For a Marvel set? What are Lego doing?
I haven't seen the movie yet but it's definitely on my list. But on it's own, this set looks great to me and priced reasonably.
That being said, I'm doubly concerned with the 3rd picture....A) Why do they continue to threaten us with eliminating paper instructions unless....? and B) I don't think she is at the right building step...
Note that there is no way to pose it at an angle, however much the box photos suggest it!
Seems a bit late to be releasing this, given the hype of the F4 movies died off by now.
Still, look pretty accurate, though size wise it feels a bit expensive for what you get.
I got very excited from glancing at the name only to be immediately disappointed by a severe lack of Volkswagen.
Cool looking robot though; I bet he'd pair well with WALL-E or the Star Wars droids.
Terrible idea, but, uh…what’s up with the giant mug?
NOT the Herbie I was hoping for...

Guessing its meant to represent scale as HERBIE is meant to be all of only 2-3 feet tall.
Cute set, but seems pricey and the lack of a minifig-scale Herbie (either new mold or brick-built) is a big miss. The model looks good though.
Really striking while the iron is cold, huh?
The only Disney-branded Herbie I want is a VW Beetle with the number 53 on the side.
As a big fan of the Fantastic Four, all I can say is - LEGO, take my money!!
I don't know or care what the robot is, but the screwdriver is beautiful
i'm buying him ASAP
Lego cooked with this set. Easily in the top tier out of all the buildable figures they've done.
Wow, so you can manually turn circular eyes?!?!
I don't know the original, but it looks s good as SW scaled droids do. Nice set, cool robot.

Not the question I was asking. I looked at it closer, and the handle appears to be an F1 CMF halo, while the base of the mug looks like a flat-top mining helmet. The body of the mug I can’t identify. It looks like a much taller Minion Kevin/Bob eye, which I think means it’s a new mold.

The base is one of the enemy helmets from Ninjago in 2023. and the body of the cup looks like the part used in the new x-wing engines

Ah... thought you were refering to the size with you saying giant rather then the actual construction of it. I think the body maybe a part 6551268 . It got used most recently in the 10358 Soundwave Set, but was used earlier for x-wing engines such as in 75301 Lukes X-wing.
edit: And @ @Hellscream is right the the bottom appear to be a 6437984: MINI HELMET, NO. 407 from Ninjago.
I never knew I didn’t need this until just now.

Seems they spin when the head turns.

Yes, I didn’t know the source, but I recognized the “upside-down frying pan” mining helmet from seeing it in part catalogs and in person. I waited too long on that X-Wing, though, so I don’t think I have the engine intake in any sets (it definitely looks like a match, though). All I could think of is a telescopic version of the eyes from the giant Minions set from Minions 2.
Of course, now I’m looking at that F1 halo element, and realizing a minifig could hold that mug. Maybe, I dunno, the Flash…

I came to the comments just to write the same thing. That they are showing digital instructions is very concerning. LEGO needs to get off the digital bandwagon and still to print. It is so much better for society to have LEGO as a hobby that allows us to disconnect from the digital world.
I love it! Definitely adding the little guy to my collection.

I don't know, but it's a neat use of the Ninjago helmet for the bottom.

@Librarian1976
They're simply pointing out that digital instructions exist.
The sky is not falling, Chickens Little.
The only high quality, well priced sets from popular licensed themes are the ones no one cares about. Imagine if this budget had been put into a Fantasticar set, for example. Nevertheless, as earlier clarified, this is a high quality product, marking some semblance of improvement for LEGO Marvel.

Old men yelling at clouds are the first ones to see the sky falling.

Pretty sure its used on the Mandalorian X-wing that just came out, the front part of the engines, if I'm not mistaken.
I need to get around to watching that movie. And as someone who loves a retro sci-fi aesthetic, I think this is pretty cool, but I absolutely agree with the people who'd rather have a certain other Herbie.

I didn't even pay attention to it until I saw your comment, but that *is* a nice little build.

@Hellscream:
Probably, but I'm not planning to buy that one.

We can only hope. There is an Incredibles 3 in production, so, maybe?
I don’t know what this is, but I like the coffee mug.

Awww, what a cutie.
Looks nothing like a VW Beetle.
Now that's a 30% off by the end of the year kinda set

“The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children,” - Pete Hegseth
Woof. …A block of something with an abstract face. …I hope LEGO is getting a discount on the licensing fee.
I like this one Lego.
Could of done with a Minifig/moulded version of him too but then again we never got a Shalla Bal Minifig or Mole Man so there's still time hopefully.
But this is cute..
Fun fact: the original H.E.R.B.I.E. was voiced by Frank Welker. You don't HAVE to imagine him sounding like Megatron or Soundwave (or Fred from Scooby Doo) now, but - well, you probably already are.

No, I'm imagining him sounding like Dr. Claw. Or maybe just making animal noises.

Why would Nibbler sound like any of those characters?

What does not look nice, is the swedish price for it.
@Crux & @PurpleDave: or: Ray Stantz or Slimer (from "The Real Ghostbusters"), Doctor Claw or Brain ("Inspector Gadget"), Iceman or Ms. Lion ("Spiderman and his Amazing Friends"...the REAL one), Darkseid ("Superfriends")...geez, Franks been at this awhile...:D

At one point, he was the most successful actor in history, if you ranked actors by how much money all the films they were in made put together. Not because he was a huge box-office draw, but because he'd just been in *so much.* Being the go-to guy for animal noises was a big part of that. Samuel L. Jackson (who *is* a big box-office draw, and was in lots of MCU movies) has since dethroned him, though.

This is true. We could make a very, very long list of characters he's voiced in a variety of series - usually, several characters at once. Frank tends to talk to himself a lot.
A much quicker IMDB/Wikipedia entry would be "Frank Welker is the voice of much of your childhood. He's been in exactly the production you're thinking of, voicing the character you're thinking of, and several others to boot."
If someone suggests a drinking-game about Welker-voiced characters in a show, movie or game, immediately punch that person out for their own safety - especially if that person happens to be (or happens to be voiced by) national treasure, Frank Welker.

I believe the Fantastic Four will be in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ which is due out in December. I don’t know if H.E.R.B.I.E. will be in the film, too. It’s possible LEGO knows and this set is a case of being early, not late.
WHY IS THE CHILD WEARING A HAT? ARE THEY COLD?
GIVE THEM A HUG, PARENTS. WARM THEM UP.
DON'T BUY LEGO. BUY HEATER.
