By in United States,

I wonder if they'll put additional SW sets on sale halfway through the 5-day promo period again like last year, making me feel like a fool for buying at the beginning of the promo period?

By in United States,

Of course shop.lego.com is immediately down... How could they possibly expect high traffic?

EDIT: Wait wasn't too bad, complained too soon. Decided to pick up UCS Tie Interceptor, as I think this might be the best discount it receives before retiring. Forever chasing the high of 50% off UCS B-wing...

Can't redeem my rewards for The Mandalorian™ and Grogu™ Metal Card. Grrrr.

By in United States,

....aaaaand Rewards redemption is immediately having issues.

Every.
Single.
Year.

I also noticed that the requirement changed for the free Razor Crest. Now states that it's only valid for "kids Star Wars sets".

By in United States,

It let me in and I was able to check out painlessly. Decided to pass on the metal card, but may try to get it if I decide to order the AT-ST.

The offers aren't great though. Also, the Razor Crest polybag is not included with purchases of 75442.

By in United States,

Jabba's barge secured right at midnight. Already on backorder! nuts.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I finally caved on the sail barge. 20% off rather than 20% back would have been cool, but… c'est la vie. I'm excited for this set!!

By in United States,

Honestly, it's insanely cheap that the Razor Crest polybag is only available with sets rated lower than 16+. It looks like a great little build and this "restricted to certain age ranges only" GWP strategy is completely new.

May 4th promos have been getting worse for years now (in terms of deals at least) and this is a new low IMO. LEGO is that stingy??

I got in just past midnight eastern with no issues, which makes sense after browsing and finding nothing worth getting for the Dark Saber (still can't bring myself to get the sail barge...) What a ho-hum May the 4th.

So bogus. Couldn’t throw in a $5 polybag for a $500 “adult” set? And a back ordered set at that?!

By in United Kingdom,

Tempted by the 2 F1 helmets, even at full RRP, but with no GWPs other than the Star Wars dross they'll have to wait for a week or 2.

Walmart has the Razor Crest bag.

By in United States,

The Insiders Rewards Center has been giving everyone errors for a while, but as of 12:55 am in the USA, I was able to trade Insiders points for codes and use one of the codes for a purchase.

So the Insider Rewards seem to be fixed.

By in United States,

Deals are terrible this year unless you’re interested in the couple UCS sets that have 20% back in points. I’ll be skipping this year because the GWP’s and discounts are terrible.

Yes! That 50% off B-Wing, that's a moment I'll never forget! I too picked up the Interceptor at 20% off equivalent, for same reasons.

By in Germany,

Terrible offers to terrible sets of the worst theme lego has to offer for all you sw fans! Why are there still star WARS sets?!? No worries, I know the answer!

And i thought for a long time that Lego is against military equipment and such sets but that seems long gone. for a long time by now. And aparently no one is seeing that, sure its just some movie franchise ;)
terrible terrible terrible, futuristic warfare based on stupid movies for over 25 years in the lego group... may the smart brick be with you! cheers

By in Australia,

For us in the Antipodes just a heads-up:

The Razor Crest mini build wasn't adding to purchases that met the criteria to get one for the first 10-or-so minutes of the sales going live. It happened to me.

I contacted customer service via the website help pages and they responded straight away, and have sent me one as a free purchase to rectify it. 19 hours ago as I type this.

If you were supposed to get one, send Lego a friendly message with your order number explaining the issue. They are aware of it now and sent my case to the IT team to prevent it happening again, but just contact them if one didn't show up on your order confirmation to make sure all is good.

By in United States,

Just ordered 75388, a six-pack of Series 29 CMFs, and some parts off of PaB. And I'll be getting 30728; I knew that Lego would give you a GWP if your order was one cent short of qualifying, but I think that this is the first time I've place such an order.

Not only 50% off, but the the GWP was chrome TC-14. And for some reason they also shipped a pair of Speedorz with each order. TC14 was shippeed separately, but also came with a pair of Speedorz. So UCS B-Wing, chrome TC-14 and 4 Speedorz for 50% the price of the USC B-Wing. Good times!

By in United Kingdom,

May 4th feels a little mean spirited this year, with 2x VIP points and a GWP restricted to sets for under age 16, only slightly balanced by the darksaber GWP not being locked to the N1.
In previous years the double points have been across the board so I left my purchases of the midi-scale Venator and AT-AT until May. Added the Cobb Vanth speeder to get over the threshold for the darksaber, and the mini-fighter Y-wing to get the cute mini Razor Crest. Only got double points on the speeder and mini-fighter, which is disappointing.
Strangely, I got the 'we've got your order' email, but still haven't received the usual 'your order is confirmed' email that normally comes in a few minutes later. Will be very disappointed if the GWP vanish from the order, and will very likely cancel in that event, as the Venator and AT-AT are available elsewhere with discounts, so I've only ordered from Lego to get the GWP... Ah well...

By in Canada,

I had no issues at midnight! Took about 2min to log in and I picked up 75447, 75445, 40856 and 75460. Looking forward to the new playsets a lot and more SW Brickheadz are always welcome in my collection! May the Force Be With All today!

I've just checked the website, and my order is also listed as shipped! Still no other emails though!

By in United States,

The fact that the mini Razor Crest is limited to certain sets is maybe a new low for this company. I don't love any of the sets currently being offered, but the prospect of a cute freebie to go along with the Star Wars logo was going to be enough to push me into buying it. Guess not!

I bought that 50% B-Wing and I rarely bought Star Wars sets at the time. I ended up reselling it *gasp* years later. I don't think I made a ton of profit though since it wasn't a very wanted set. I probably should have kept it for the gray track pieces. Oh well.

"What do you plan to buy today?"

A certain type of Apple headphones for our daughter's church festivities next week.

Oh you meant LEGO?
Nothing then.

Guess so because now that I'm back from work it is no longer available. Glad that I waited up until midnight and tried for 30 minutes to redeem my points for it.

By in United States,

The discount on the star wars logo bade me go under $160 so I had to add the night trooper battle pack T-T
