By in United Kingdom,

First you lose the Ashes and now the possibility of no Christmas Train, these are dark times for Aussies.

Haven't heard but most likely it'll be the same as Europe.

By in Australia,

Oh no... I really want this, but I don't have $200 worth of LEGO (has to be $200 to get free shipping) on my to-buy list... Probably out of the budget even if I did... :(

By in Malaysia,

You're better off than us kiwis who have to amass $400 just to get free shipping

"In Europe and Australasia, the offer commences on the 22nd of October."

I've been looking all over for this info! Is this guess work or fact do we know?

If true, it fits in nicely with the 2x VIP points in UK which runs from 14th thru 31st October. :)

Now I've put a order in so Train will be mine ;)

By in United States,

You've got to be kidding me. I just ordered $80 worth of sets last night, adding another $20 wouldn't have been a big deal. If I had known this (which I'm sure I did) I would have waited.

Placed my order this morning :) Got the new(remade) toy shop and some pick a brick. Now to just wait for Brick Friday to get the other seasonal set.

@TheBernician, for Europe, yes we know for a fact.

By in Czech Republic,

I waited until today to place my order and then I realized that I do not get double points or free train set. So is it true that this both offers will be available from October 14th all over the Europe?

12 listings on ebay, all buy it now, not a one below $35. 'sokay, I can wait these guys out...

Oddly enough, there just isn't $99 worth of Lego I'm interested in right now.

AUSTRALIA
Double VIP run from 14 to 31 october
Train we get is not the christmas train, but a 'candy cane train' and this will be available from 22 OCT to 11 NOV

Confirmed with TLG this morning as i placed an order over 1k and was not given the double VIP for the 1st to 14th OCT.

Terrible promotion communication for Australasia.
Also - Brickset pander to Europe and US for information - what are the statistics for australian registered users? can we please be included in any information that is posted? I visit this site daily for info - many times i am lead astray and disappointed that we are ALWAYS forgotten about.

@Mucktard, we get the same promo deals as Europe. Im assuming you spoke to someone locally with your order? Ive had orders shipped direct from Europe in the past and also from the warehouse in Sydney.

Just have to wait another week to make my next order, more time to work it out :)

That did seem a little bit shifty, when the store calendar said (still says) the double VIP points were only from the 1st through the 4th. Oh well, not looking a gift horse in the mouth; always like the rare occasions when special offers overlap!
