LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar

©2015 LEGO Group

It is the 30th of November so that can only mean we are almost ready to start cracking open our LEGO Advent Calendars! Every year we try to bring you daily reviews of the Advent Calendar gifts and that tradition will continue for the 2015 range.

LostInTranslation will be providing reviews of the Friends Advent Calendar each day and I will be publishing reviews of the City and Star Wars calendars. We are hoping to consistently publish them at about the same time every day so you can avoid spoilers if you wish. You can take a look at our planned timings after the break.

However, this year we won't just be reviewing the Advent Calendar models. We have also been able to acquire a number of 2016 sets and will therefore be publishing reviews of those over the next couple of weeks. Our first Nexo Knights review will be posted at the weekend, so stay tuned!

City - 10:00am

Friends - 1:00pm

Star Wars - 6:00pm

If you would rather not see the reviews at all, you can uncheck 'Advent Countdown' in your news preferences.

Prepare for a busy month...

Besides of Nexo Knights what kind of 2016 sets can we (readers) expect?

To avoid spoilers I will be opening the 2010 castle calendar this year.

I'll be cracking open my 2015 Star Wars calendar too! Can't wait. Also, I hope your reviews will finally confirm the Nexo Knights theme as good or bad.

(SPOILER), For those who missed purchasing any of the 2015 advents, you can get A PDF of all the mini sets on the Lego site: https://wwwsecure.us.lego.com/en-us/service/buildinginstructions (see link to right "Where can I find the instructions for my new LEGO® Advent Calendar? "). They even have some of the older calendars.

By in Norway,

As my total failure to get a Star Wars or a City calendar last year. I have been ready since late October with both this year.

Woohoo - advent calendar reviews! Christmas must be coming! And perhaps as importantly... The Force Awakens.

By in United States,

I continue to be confused at the concern over AC spoilers when 50-75% of the builds are visible somewhere on the box. I mean, the Star Wars box alone has ELEVEN of the builds on the front panel, and I bet if I looked at the sides and rear we'd have a bunch more.

I was planning to only get the City one this year, but my wife surprised me with the Star Wars one as well. Can't wait!

I've been collecting the Star Wars calendars since they began. Sadly this year I couldn't get one, the tradition has ended :(

I got the Star Wars calendar as a gift. I'm so excited to open it! It's my first LEGO advent calendar.

@ Thebrickdoctor. K-mart had them in October so I grabbed one then. I missed out last year though, so I know what it's like.

By in United States,

I drug my feet and missed out on an advent calendar last year, so got the City one very early this year, looking forward to my first advent calendar!

As I don't have that much money (and because the Star Wars calendars are extraordinarily hard to find in the Netherlands), I'll just live with chocolate this year.
Excited for the reviews though!
