Blocks issue 25 out now
Posted by Huw,
Blocks magazine Issue 25 is already with subscribers, and is now available to buy from all good magazine retailers.
The incredible Disney Castle is reviewed to see how well the over 4,000 pieces come together with some lovely imagery of the towering new set. The Blocks eye is cast over the latest series of Collectible Minifigures, before moving on to Assault on Hoth – which then gets the Mod Squad treatment, as the team come together to show readers how to really do the famous Star Wars sequence justice.
Designers of the BIONICLE range talk to Blocks magazine about the theme that’s bowing out and its place in the constraction mix. A look back at how the LEGO Group went Down Under in a big way is a great slice of LEGO history.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to mash-up Jurassic World and Friends? Star Wars and Scooby Doo? The LEGO Movie and Blacktron? An exclusive build series demonstrates just what can happen when applying the aesthetics of one theme to another, with some amazing results.
As well as regular features including drawers in Techniques and Thriller in Custom Corner, a whole new section launches in this issue if Blocks – ‘Month in LEGO’. This great new opening to the magazine includes news, interviews, MOCs, show reports and plenty more. It’s the perfect way to refresh yourself on everything that’s happened in the past month.

Would anyone know if the magazine is available at WHsmith? I tried looking for the previous edition a couple weeks ago at Victoria station but could not find it. If WHSmith does not sell it, who would be a good magazine retailer?
Yes most larger branches of WHS stock it.
Where can this be found in the US?
VeeDubGuy83, I find it pretty reliably at Barnes and Noble, but have not seen it anywhere else.
I have not been able to find Bricks or Bricks Culture over here at all, however.
VeeDubGuy83- any Lego store or shop.lego.com. I think it is a Lego exclusive so I'm surprised B&N had it.
I find it does vary from month to month and branch to branch of WHSmith as to where they put the mag. If you meant Victoria Station in London @kinggregus then it is usually with model collecting mags and airfix mags and all the ones about transport. Hope that helps.
I love the Friends TIE fighter and dinosaur spa in this months issue. Absolutely brilliant.
@bookmum Thanks a lot. I will have a look there this weekend. Last time, my search was focused at the kids section...
@JDC Are you referring to the Disney Castle by chance? I took @VeeDubGuy83's question to be about Blocks Magazine.
Yes, I hadn't had my caffeine yet... :-)
@Jrayers Bricks and Bricks Culture can only be bought online. Hope that helps.
