The LEGO Batman Movie preview weekend

Many UK cinema chains are showing The LEGO Batman Movie today and tomorrow ahead of its general workdwide release on Friday 10th February.

The Brickset team will be viewing it today and we plan to bring you a spoiler-free appraisal of it tomorrow.

If you're seeing it today as well then by all means let us know what you thought of it in the comments below but please keep it spoiler-free!

Just seen it - it's good, very good. Probably lays The Moral Lesson on a bit thick, though. But that's not really a major issue.

Saw it today and it was truley awesome.
Love the Moral leason. Brilliant when your day job includes going into Schools to speak to 8 -11 year olds premoting the Trusted Adult programe.

I watched it today. Great movie but I was disappointed with the soundtrack. No catchy number to hum on leaving the cinema :(
However, I will revisit the cinema to catch the movie again since it's easy to miss stuff. I did enjoy the story line but I couldn't gauge how well it would do with kids. Just wished they had made more of an effort with the tunes.

Watched it this morning. I loved it and so did my niece & nephew although I probably got a lot more of various film references and jokes. Look out for a great Twilight Zone joke.

Potential spoilers ahead (not really though);

Whilst the movie was great, the villain vehicles barely feature in the movie. At least for TLM you could recreate the most epic scenes with your sets but here- not so much.
Also I really want that egg-mech as a set. Wave 3 hopefully??

The movie was shown today in the USA as well in select theatres for both the press as well as select others. Our LUG was invited by Warner Bros. I personally thought it was great. Good story line and action packed with loads of jokes / puns.
