This Saturday, 11th February, you can pick up a free 30522 Batman in the Phantom Zone polybag using a coupon in the day's issue of The Times at Martin's and McColl's newsagents and convenience stores.

A polybag promo with a newspaper that I can buy without hating myself? Score!

5 minutes walk? Much better than next town over

I can't decide between this and the Carol Anne Duffy polybag the Guardian are doing at the same time!

By in United Kingdom,

Ayliffe, I commend your optimism. FYI, it's still a Murdoch-owned paper (alongside The Sun), but yes, it's got to be an improvement over the Daily Mail, right?
If this includes Petrol Station McColl's too, then I'm very pleased; there's one very near me. A great polybag which I'll be happy to get hold of.

I am preparing myself for the blank looks already when I ask the nearest McColl/Martins store if they are doing the promotion!

Awesome. I have a local McColl's anyway but for those that don't, this is great news.

I have a McColl's just round the corner from the office... but on Saturday I will be nowhere near it, or any other branch! :( Hoping to claim online but have also asked a colleague who lives nearby to pop in if they can.

So annoyed! Neither of those shops have branches in northern Ireland, so it looks like I'm stuffed when it comes to this one

Nice , and for once I can get a polybag without having to buy a copy of Reader's Wives to hide the Daily Mail in.

Is it just martins and mcolls or will WHsmiths be involved as well? I haven't got a mcolls or martins anywhere near me.

By in United Kingdom,

Fearing that there was going to be no Martins or McColls near me I googled it and was surprised that there are indeed 5 within a reasonable distance, so will try to get one on Saturday.

By in United Kingdom,

Are all the above comments missing the "claim online" bit? You don't need a Martins or mccolls from the sound of it, possibly just a copy of the Saturday times.

Is there a limit to the number of polybags per customer? If, for example, you get two copies of The Times, do you get two polies? I'd like to get one for me and one for a friend.

@zander. I suspect you'll need to wait for the paper on Saturday for full terms and conditions! I'm hoping to get a couple too :)

By in Ireland,

This promotion is available today and tomorrow in Ireland with coupons in the independant which can be redeemed in some super value shops (got blank stares from the first two I went into but third time was a charm).

By in Ireland,

Picked up two today from the local Super Valu store thanks to tokens in the Irish Independent

My local Martins (Bromsgrove) apparently didn't get any sent to them. So after purchasing the paper in WHSmiths, to be told of no free Lego, was a disappointment.
Then to find out that you can claim it online. Ok, fine, but it's £2.45 for the P&P! So you pay more for the product than you do for the paper.
Why can't newspapers use supermarkets or stick to WHSmiths, where it's easier?

By in United States,

The Dine-In AMC in Disney Springs gave us each one of these when buying tickets for The Batman Lego Movie on Wednesday the 15th, not sure if all AMCs are doing it.
