Awsome
Awesome! Great price, too!
This looks great! I like how the skate piece is used as the door handles.
Looks wonderful. A must have or two or three.
I'm more into my McLarens than my Minis (what, I prefer supercars to superminis ;-) ), but my goodness that's a gorgeous model. It's going to be hard for me to resist buying this one. I love the use of windscreens as wheel arches, that's genius!
On another note, I find it funny that some people have already marked that they own this set. Always found that a bit strange. Weeks maybe, but not 2 months before! Doesn't matter though, all that matters is that LEGO did a stellar job representing this iconic British car :-)
This set is simply amazing! The detail is exceptional and the colour scheme is wonderful. It is definitely a purchase for me, to complement the Volkswagon Camper Van perfectly. Another great set LEGO!
Agree. This is gorgeous. A must-buy for a car guy like me. Brilliant!
There's another video here, even cuter but equally low on details! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwWyEu1Nep4

Nice, British racing green, $99...hmm...
I looked at this and thought, 'okay this is the car the set is based on, but where is the actual set?'
Wow! very nice! Will be my first creator vehicle set that I ever buy!
Must have! And the price is not half bad!
Huh, both the dark green sop with camel and the dark green mini cooper are both set at 100$
Love that it is green and not the so common red color :D
The car looks extremely realistic, and not a bad price either. I dont usually by creator but this is a must have.
Oh no. Now I'm going to have to buy three of them and enough red, white and blue bricks to remake The Italian Job.
I'm not even into cars, but did they have to make this in British racing green? Too beautiful to pass up. Once again LEGO lightens my wallet.
I was so excited to see that LEGO is making this set! A logical move on their part, since Mini Coopers seem to be the rage right now. Heck, my family has two of them as our family cars. A great reproduction of an icon; can't wait to get my hands of this set!
That basket blew me away, the eye for detail never seems to fail in sets like these.
I have suddenly lost all interest in any other set I was saving up for.
Looks ace.
The set looks gorgeous, arguably even better than the VW Camper Van. This is undoubtedly a day one purchase for me, and at a very fair price!
This is wonderful. :3
Looks more like a shrunken land rover than a mini. Perhaps it's better from other angles. Still, lots of dark green I suppose.
Very nice. I had been assuming that the rumored green color would be classic LEGO green (TLG color 'Dark Green') but it's nice to see otherwise. I would have liked this set to be, say $10 cheaper - this seems to be right around that '10c per piece' price ratio - but being that it's technically a 'licensed' set, the price is more than fair. Looking forward to this one. Although I still haven't built my T1 Transporter..
Alright. Now to customize the color on a few and remake The Italian Job.
Must admit I am excited for this one, this is a day one purchase for me. It will match my own real life Mini, and I love the details, from the curves to the spare in the boot (Trunk). Like the idea of doing a Italian Job scene.
I recognized it as a mini immediately, even before I started reading anything on it. Timing is perfect, as my wife (who is a Mini driver) has her birthday in August.
Off to the lego store on saturday for my spaceship, spaceship, SPACESHIP !!!!! and will be back on the 18th july for a mini, mini,MINI !!!! adore the look of this set they just keep raising the standard higher and higher.
@richl: looks like you and I are in 'the self preservation society' :)
Tell you what: pick a colour. I'll do one, you do one and we'll easily find a third person. Anyone who comes after us can do a Land Rover, a six wheeled coach, Italian police cars!
