New Minecraft set images

Posted by ,

The website German-Toys.com has just posted images of all five upcoming Minecraft sets. You can see them all over at their site.

Thanks to Jan C for the tip.

I saw them for a minute then they were taken down!

^Yep, same here! Lego has been right on top of these leaks lately.

I wouldn't call them leaks, LEGO had to give them the pictures.

I can only see 21116 because it's deeplinked at the top of the article, but it actually looks decent and has a relatively exciting box. Were these added to the database before removal?

That, at least, looks like a fun model compared to the others I've seen. Granted, I've never played the game, but the multiple levers look to make for great play.

Wow, they were thorough, by now they've even removed the entire Minecraft subtheme from their site, not just the pictures o0

^^ The bit at the upper right says "Build Your Own Creature".

^^ it looks more like "Build Your Own Creations" to me

^ Good call. It's too small to tell for sure, but "creations" is more likely.

I'm so glad I can pass on these... 2015 is already FULL of so many themes and sets I can't resist. Good to get a break once in a while.

I like Minecraft I just really dislike the way minecraft and LEGO mix, the aesthetics do not work together.

What I always wonder about these Minecraft sets; who's buying them? I don't know anyone who has and haven't seen anyone even touch one in a shop, but new ones keep cropping up all the time.

I like the printed pieces, the rest looks very basic. Considering how well the current sets sell and they're more display worthy then play, these are going to sell insanely well.

@Joefish: I've heard that they've sold remarkably well. Chances are their buyers are dedicated Minecraft fans, but that doesn't entirely narrow things down since the game itself appeals to a wide swath of age ranges. I've seen kids as young as maybe six or seven in Minecraft T-shirts, or with Minecraft stuffed toys, and I've also seen a wide selection of Minecraft merchandise like T-shirts and foam swords at more "grown-up" stores like Hot Topic.

That mineshaft looks amazing compared to the Farm and Cave. Like a real set.
