Amazing Spider-Man 2 Electro polybag found
Posted by Meiko,
NuffSaid1996 over at Eurobricks has discovered an eBay listing for an Electro polybag for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 that we haven't seen before. No indication of how to get it or if it's exclusive to any region. If any Brickset members know how to get hold of one of these, let us know in the comments!
Edit: It was pointed out on Eurobricks that this was given out at Kids Fest. It's probably too late for anyone to make it to Kids Fest in Virginia, but looks like the next one is in Indiana next month. The polybag might be available there too.

Makes me also wanna buy the SDCC 2013 Spider-man
Does this mean more ASM2 sets in the future?! Please yes...
Don't much like the figure, though. And it appears this is the new smallest set in which we get force lightning...
And I think I saw a news article mentioning this thing somewhere, but I cannot find it back... some promo, I think.
I hope this is easy to get as the Comic Con 2013 Spider-Man was near impossible.
Please LEGO we need 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' sets!
I'm surprised that they didn't use the transparent head, it
must have not been received well.

If this had been out earlier I would have wanted it, but now I already have an Electro from the Marvel sets this year and honestly TASM2 left a bad taste in my mouth, so not interested in this figure. If it had been the Green Goblin from TASM2 then maybe, but buying this figure now seems unnecessary.
As I mentioned yesterday, I got it from the Lego Club booth. You either had to sign up for the magazine or do a scavenger hunt through the pages (with no wrong answers at all) Also, you could get a special Duplo printed brick. I got two electro polybags, one from each vendor. And Huw, I mentioned this yesterday and emailed you! I wondered when you'd get to it! :-)
@Aegis2000: I don't think Huw remembered to, as Meiko posted it. Perhaps Sunday is Huw's day off... ;-)
I might be mistaken but I thought that I read somewhere that the contract between The Amazing Spiderman movies and Mega Bloks expired recently. I mean, how else would The LEGO Group been able to make this? Does this mean we will be seeing more movie based sets in the future? I hope so.
I've been away this weekend at the GWBS, you'll recall...
Man, I was at Kids Fest in Michigan this April and they had absolutely zero polybags for sale and only gave away a couple of Star Wars polybags at a booth. Oh well, this does look cool regardless.
$187.38!!! Insanity.
Its a LEGO Kidsfest exclusive. There is another one on eBay now.
I'm going to disagree with the crowd and say that we don't need sets/figures from the movie. If anything, I hope they pull more from the comics - many more characters to choose from!
I'm taking my kids to KidsFest in Cincinatti OH next weekend (10/18).... We'll see what I can find!
Lets just hope is like the Micro manager poly or TMNT Mikeys Shell raiser and it sees widespread distribution after an initially constricted run. That way we can either pick one up, or from eBay at a relatively low price.
I went to the first ever Kids Fest (Which was a horrible overpriced mess) and I didn't get anything!
I would suggest just paying $10 for a whole set of comic mini figure knockoffs on eBay, they are better quality than most CMF.
@Huw: Yes, I forgot that was on... ;-)
