Commander Cody figure revealed
Posted by Huw,
LEGO has revealed the Commander Cody constraction set at Star Wars Celebration and posted a short video on Twitter. It, and the other five, will be available in September.
I believe we are now just waiting for images of Jango Fett to complete the set.

He looks good! The best of the group so far.
Well, that's slightly disappointing, I was hoping for a bit more orange, but at least I'll get some white shells for MOCs. :)
Very good looking ! But I prefer the System's sets because you can build spaceship to this scale and you have much to play with.
The constractions could mainly be for display purpose only.
this is currently my least favorite, it looks far too simplistic. I see that they're repeating what they did for the superhero's sets, but this one lacks detail on the limbs.
I will probably only get the darth vader and/ or grievous
Hmm. Looks pretty good... I'm actually surprised at how good the other figures look compared to Luke/Darth Vader. :P
i like that blaster
This gives me the idea to buy a few hundreds of these, one Grievous, one Obi-Wan and some Battle Droids (if Lego makes one) to recreate the Battle of Utapau.
this is Lego creeping into the action figure market slowly...
@glendo.au Pretty slowly indeed if you're only now noticing it... they've been doing action figures for going on fifteen years now. This is just the first time it's crossed over with their Star Wars license (unless you count the Technic sets from 2000–2002, which were a lot more limited in terms of articulation: http://brickset.com/sets/theme-Star-Wars/subtheme-Technic).
This is a decent figure, but its torso and legs are a lot gappier than those of Luke, Obi-Wan, and Vader. It's pretty obvious that the size and complexity of the blaster rifle meant having to cut corners with the armor in order to keep this set at a $20 price point.
It's a shame the helmet appears to be a single mold. You'd think that by doing the visor separately they could potentially get more use out of the base helmet mold. Though I guess at this scale, the authenticity of the visor shape is more important than it would be on a minifigure.
It's great to have those shoulder pads in more colors, and I love that this set uses CCBS shells in tandem with curved Technic panels. They're a natural fit with their shared angular edge contours and smooth finish. Lots of great white parts in this set.
He looks good, might be the only to buy for me.
All I want are the orange shoulder pads...
@Mirakle Nothing to play with? While it may not be your ideal sort of Lego (it isn't mine either), a good ol' action figure like this is what filled many children's toy boxes! They provide a different sort of play value, but there is still tons to be had.
Lego released a video of jango fett on twitter a few hours ago.
This new line of sets will be nice I like this one just like all the others!

^Looks like they saved the worst for last...
Yeah, it looks surprisingly bad, he isn't cool. Little kids will still like it though.
Alas, it is but Vader and Grievous who seems to fit seamlessly into the line without looking bare. :)
I do wish they gave Grievous a cape.
