Series 14 feelers' guide
Posted by Huw,
Series 14 minifigs are being found in various parts of the world now, including Target stores across the USA. If you're one of those that likes to stand for hours in shops feeling them to get the figures you want you'll find this well presented series 14 feelers' guide produced by gnaat very handy.
If you've not yet decided which ones you want, take a look at his review of the series which includes some very nice images. From it we can learn the box distribution. Rare ones are shown in bold:
3 Wolf Guys / 5 Zombie Pirates / 5 Mad Scientists / 3 Wacky Witches / 4 Plant Monsters / 4 Fly Monsters / 4 spectra / 3 Zombie Cheerleaders / 3 Tiger Women / 4 Gargoyles / 4 Skeleton Guys / 5 Monster Rockers / 3 Zombie Businessmen / 3 Banshees / 4 Square Foots / 3 Spider Ladies.
Happy hunting and feeling!

And, as of yesterday, Lego Stores in the UK. Certainly Westfield Stratford, and I was told by the lovely chap who worked there who stood feeling bags with me for 30 minutes that all Lego Stores in the UK had been told to put them out yesterday.
None of my favorites are rare. :)
Outstanding, very nice guide. This will come in useful when I go hunting!
Seriously? A commentary to the low IQ of some out there.
Very nicely presented and comprehensive guide!
This is a nice guide. I appreciate the effort put into creating it.
I've always noticed the small circle dents on the rear lower of the packs. Has there ever been a guide to these patterns? They hard to see in the store, without looking like a weirdo. I'm pretty sure this is how Lego deciphers what is in each bag.
very cool and useful - great job!!!
^^ Eric, yes there has but I think there can be some variation across batches and I believe that those who publish details are asked to cease and desist by LEGO's lawyers due to it being proprietary information.
Anyone know where to buy a box in bulk?
Aww, I just bought one, came home and found this? Oh well. The one I got was square foot, one I wanted.
@svet_boy: Try Bricklink in a few weeks' time, or if you want them now, try EBay, although it will cost a good deal more ATM.
Looking forward to getting my hands on these - a complete series for me, along with multiples of the Gargoyle, Specter and Fly Monster. Could someone confirm if these are in the Watford Store, please?
A couple CMF newbie questions:
Is the distribution per box always consistent?
Is it just a coincidence that all the series 14 female characters are rare, or is this typical of the CMF line?
Where have the guys in the UK found them for sale?i am Brighton area and tried few independent shops today but to no avail!??
Oh man, I can't tell you how relieved I am that the Mad Scientist's head extension is a "hat". That is possibly the worst Minifig I have ever seen, but at least you get a proper head.
Even though it was an overall flop, at least they learned something from Chima about making specialized heads into actually "helmets".
I got all 16 figs yesterday at the lego shop in manchester. Had 2 members of staff helping me feel my way through all 16. Big thank you to lilly and joe. you are a credit to the manchester store.
Oh man, this is SO helpful. In a crowded situation it's just great to have a quick guide that shows pictures of every figure. Adding the unique parts and confirming detail is just sweet. Many thanks!!
I personally just go by looking at the pictures on the box, seems to work for me.
@kashmir4 People in the USA have found them in stores. Here in the UK, I think that they are only available in LEGO stores so far.
Cant wait to get the set complete :)
Well, Canada doesn't seem to have them yet. Canada deserves things you know.
Thank you!!!!
I would need this in front of me when I massage away my blind packs!!!!
The distribution per sealed box is quite consistent. But differences do appear.
i have a sealed cmf9 box with extra fortune teller and 1 less Dr Good/Evil
and a sealed cmf13 box with extra king and one less goblin.
Thank you ! I love it !
This is great, cheers!
Minifiguresplus on eBay is the place to get a case, at least in the U.S. I just ordered one!
Are there examples of a study of distribution across boxes? In my industry, if you took distribution from a single sample, you'd get some funny looks.
Ahhh....brings back memories of feeling for minifigs right before having to go home to set up for a Super Bowl party...I don't know why, but the Zombie Rocker's guitar bears a striking resemblance to a Fender Precision Bass. Hope my local TRU starts stocking them soon.
I am slightly annoyed by the lack of different themes throughout this Series. I don't like as many as I usually do.
nice.. I may have to do the same this weekend at westfield.. doubt the Lego staffers will be as happy to assist given its always packed on the weekends
The only minifig I really want is the Spectre, because of the "legs" and cape piece.
Is there a way to get the reveiw in English?
@Chucknorriskick The Google Chrome Browser will offer to translate webpages for you on the fly. Or you could try this https://translate.google.com
Hi Chuucknorriskick ! I'm working on a translation of my blog in english, but it's a lot of work.
2x2Tile is right, you can try https://translate.google.com
Thanks so much for the advice! I wouldn't have thought of that.
Just so everyone knows, the blog is written in Italian.
I'm at Westfield Stratford Lego as we speak, but unlike my fellow poster above they only have the Simpsons minifigures out, and don't seem to have heard about the new range :(
Has anyone found them in the uk yet? (non lego stores)

I got four packets (no packet feeling) from WHSmiths in Birmingham City Centre today.
13 packs in Ohio, US. 9 of the set.
Thanks for the feelers guide! Finally got them here in Pittsburgh.
